Anyway i always disabled the grass in ARMA, because when i was in prone position i couldn't see a thing, but the guy at 200 meters from here could see me with no problem because of the LOD.

Which is too bad, because in real life it's really hard to see a guy in tall grass even if you are at 10 meters.

Ohh that's awesome acumen !! nice style!

Just one thing i would have done, it's to add some variations to the four drills in terms of position (one upper than the other etc) to break that symetric look.

    But it's really cool

Wow it looks damn fine, remind me a lot 2001 : a space odyssey and other some other movies.

It's the relation between the astronaut and the AI which seems to be interesting, unlike with HAL9000 it's not the machine which seems to be human, but the human which seems to be considered less human than the AI.

I'm just blindly guessing that is the theme of the movie from the trailer

    I love psychological dramas ...

    I'll miss you spellbinder

And indeed, it's something i wanted to tell you for a long time, but think a bit of taking care of yourself before thinking of taking care of the others, because you deserve it too.

Good luck on resolving your life issues.. I wish you well.

finishing ability is the only currency worth anythign on this battlefield ! and carmeck once more confirms it ! Furyo i hate those guys and i know plenty of them

Personally my problem is not to finish something, it's to start it; But once i've started, i finish things pretty well. This is what my lead artist told me at the end of my internship and i think he is very right. When i'm working on my own stuff i always have some trouble to start and stick myself to something because i lack the discipline over myself to do so. But when i'm in a team environment i feel responsible for the work of the people i'm working with, (maybe sometimes too much, my lead artist had to stop me several times before i was taking in charge the responsibility of other people) so when the work of other people is implied i just don't allow me to fuck things up.

And this is probably the most rewarding part of the job, when you share the creation process and the hard work with someone you value and get something done. Well at least this is what motivates me; making 3D art is a cool job, but i also need the human element. This is why i can hardly see myself doing freelance work.

":1sgw8e4b]Well yeah, I'm not going to lie, I still do prefer the old one better. Looked more athletic and realistic for some reason, where the new one looks more like a walking tank. But if you think about it, there's a guy inside that suit, so it has to be wider than normal human body proportions. Look at the old one, and imagine how skinny the guy inside should be. But yeah, in the end of the day what matters is what you see, not the technical stuff.

composition, lighting and textures are great but I'm not to keen on the character design, kind of hard to tell what it is at first glance.

Maybe i should really put some colors in there to make her more readable, is it because of the nuances or because of the character design itself ?
