It looks indeed pretty cool ! congrats guys
I like the terrorist attitude at 0:23 in the trailer though, sums up the gameplay pretty well ;p

Quote from Sentura
even though it'll probably never affect me in any way.

Well who knows, as growing older, i think i will go doing something like this if i can tbh :

Hp it's cool mate, i mean there is no problem about liking alien. At all. I understand, i liked the movies too. I'm pretty sure it will be the coolest game and have some quite satisfying metal reflections for the release !
:v
:v

I feel this is getting really touchy, get ready mark and liam, i mean emotionally. Because if fanboys (like this very mean portuguese 3d guy) innocently start to nitpick at stuff like metal reflections...
I assume the alien has the proper number of teeth... if not.. you guys are in deep trouble.
I remember this quote from a fan on totalwar center, where i go when i want to feel bad about myself : "I get comfort in knowing the rome2 dev team are humans after all, and as such, that they will die eventually."

Instant boner which wants to believe really... hard

Quite happy you are still here with us to write this Puddy, which is a pretty comforting feeling i would say.
I have been through some shit in my life like everyone, which weren't medical problems, but nothing like having a glance at the bottom of the pit as you did (or at least not for me). Much respect man, you can really be proud of yourself, don't loose that positive energy you have ! I guess that this paralysing uncertainty over life and death is really hard to endure, as if the sickness was imprisoning yourself in your own body. But now that you know you will live for good, quickly take back the control of your life dude

If any worse, i think you live in the good century for heart conditions, i've saw there's this in france lately :
http://rt.com/news/france-artificial-heart-transplant-662/
And i'd love to hear a part 4 too! ( although i would rather not having to read your adventure at all in the first place )
Happy recovery, all the best to you and your family !

Speaking of chilling and letting things go, I don't know what happened to me too lately; because this is a terrible thing, i think i care about politics. i need some help. Even worse, i'm starting to think that's there is no culture or art without politics.
For example, Chainsaw, do you know this is very hard for me to read this albert einstein quote after watching a neoliberal propaganda video monkeying subversive values, to finish by hammering "think different" in an imperative sentence. It is.
This particular pathology is actually affecting my personnal life, as for a meal during the holidays, i think it went too far when i talked politics with my step mother. Only to realise my foolishness when she left the table insulting me.
Please what should i do, I'm trying to follow your advices guys and find my inner buddha, but i may not be fat enough to have one.

It's actually funny how i can recognize places from your screenshots -
Thing is, they probably made the majority of the total sells in time with this alpha. People who would be interested in dayz already bought it, so if we adopt a cynical point of view, there's a lot less financial interest for bohemia to continue the developpment to a complete full release, because this will be at loss. (but that's actually depending on the cost of the dev team).
Except maybe the players wrath and the hit to their reputation would justify a financial investment. Although they are striving on a stable niche market, and dayz players aren't the same customers as arma players, so they should be pretty safe.
Actually let's hope they are honest, or scared for their reputation.
(although i had a lot of fun on the alpha and if you compare the hours of fun / price ratio to other games, it's already rentabilised for me)

Been playing Knights of Honor 10 years after, it's an amazing wargame from 2004 even today, i wonder how i actually missed it

I guess you want to do good and meaningful work mate, and that's an honourable feeling. Thing is, when you are in such situations where you feel more implied than you should, remember that for one you are not responsible of the bad recruitements the company does to deserve itself by crapping down the team morale; second it's not your money in play, if the direction wants to run things badly that's their responsibility. Third, you signed a contract that stipulate the article of your work, you are paid a salary for it, and don't earn any share of the benefits of the company; so it's all good to do a bit more if the company provides a good working environment and is honest with you, otherwise keep it strictly to that contract. But be honest with what you signed.
And for your coworkers, they are just dogs in suit and tie fighting for the scarce golden bones they are being thrown at, don't fall into that, you have better things to do than fight against mills.
I think indeed you should run away if it's affecting your personal life and your relationship with the future mother of your child, the coming of a child is a very stressful moment i guess, plus it's in these moments that companies know they can do whatever they want with the future parents as they are financially stuck, i'm not a dad myself but it would be cool if some of the veteran dads from mapcore could give you some advice

Well of course that looks realistic as hell, but i can't help but think of those animators doing nothing but cleaning motion capture for a year on games featuring only human characters. And i am scared.
-
Well if you are not making a physic or lighting engine, or shaders. It doesn't go ahead of trigonometry (vectors maybe) no ?
-
Well i don't know if it's a good idea, but at least give them an answer. Even if it's an automated one, you could copy/paste what you wrote about not having the time to answer and detail every application, and then tell them it won't do it and they should move on or re apply after, at least it's honest and straightforward. Because it's super annoying to lose 1 or 2 weeks waiting after a company to answer when you could have tried somewhere else.
