Hey mapcorians, two really early screens of the map i'm working on. That's the remake of one of my first hl2 map dm_gits :

    http://kokosovar.free.fr/mapshl/dm_gitsbeta1.jpg

Now that i have improved my skills in hl2 modding, especialy in the modeling and texturing fields, i've thought of remaking the map into something which uses 80% of models.

Those are really early, everything is pretty much wip

    • June 20, 2006 at 3:01 PM

So i've made a video tutorial on how i'm colourising my scanned pencil doodles with photoshop, maybe it could help some people to get the basics and have their own technic in the future. But you'll see, that's really simple, cause in my case, 80% of the drawing is in the line.

So the video shows the process from this

    to this

and the download link : http://kokosovar.free.fr/doodletutorial.zip

and that's photoshop 7 in french, sorry :/

I could make a little photoshop video tutorial on how i'm colourising stuff d3, but hell i'm not Todd Mcfarlane

But for that kind of drawings, 80% is in the inked line

    edit : try this btw http://www.merekatcreations.com/mere_ht ... rials.html

I second hessi, that perspective will looks really odd ingame, but other than that, wow. Maybe you could sharp it up just a bit, especially the top

gameplay and graphics are not two seperate areas. Graphics are an integral part of the gameplay, believe it or not.

bloom isn't part of the gameplay for me, doom3 shadows are.
