Hmm, you just need to be bored for the next 2 months and then you can complete it Right now I'm at a spot where my weapons/armor/stats aren't quite good enough to proceed with the next major mission, so right now I'm just putzing around trying to get some exp and gather more stuff.

BTW running into the giant Radscorpions in the desert = best ever. Worst they can do is poison me, can't damage me through my armor(unless critical, and thats rare), and I get like 1100exp for each encounter ..

Why does everyone think america is some cess pool of death and murder and rape and robbery? Sure there are some bad parts of the cities, but all cities have some 'bad' areas. The vast majority of the country is a very safe place to live. Sure we could use some work in social services and education, but we are spending billions of dollars on a war

There are hundreds of thousands of students in this country, there is bound to be someone to goes whacko. This kid's English teacher did see signs of mental illness, and did refer him to a psychiatrist, but they can't force anyone to do anything.

And about his roommates... I saw an interview with one of them. He said he never really talked to them, stayed in his room or went to class. He said he never read any of the kid's writings. Not that it really matters, go on Deviant art, you'll find hundreds of potential mass murders there. Just because someone acts morbid doesn't mean they're gonna go slaughtering people. Seriously, just think to yourself.. how f**ked up would someone have to be for you to honestly think they're going to seriously hurt someone, let alone go on a killing rampage. Sure if he had anger issues, was obsessed with guns/knives, made threats, yeah I'd probably say something to someone. If he sits in his room with no weapons, saying nothing to nobody, I'm not going to suspect anything.

Of course there is a background check to get a gun. Its not like you just walk into walmart, grab a gun off the shelf and pay for it and walk out.

Like everyone else has said, the real problem with reducing or removing a legal way to obtain a gun is that there are SO many guns here already, that'll just take guns out of the hands of people who aren't the problem.

I'm sure that school has more than 15 security guards, it probably has its own police force. The Uni that I used to go to was about that size, ~25k students, and like ~12k lived on campus. There was a police force of about 50 officers, and they were State police, not locals.. meaning they had more power than a 'normal' cop. They had a small SWAT team and one of those SWAT vans.

To have security guards outside of every entrance of every building on campus would be absurd. That is hundreds of guards... Chances are once the police were called someone was there within a minute or two. I know at my old Uni you could easily get across campus in a car in under a minute.

Its a tragedy but I don't think there is any logical way to prevent this kinda thing from happening.

Commander Keens, the first trilogy. 4-5-6 aren't terribly hard, but 1-2-3 are just rediculous.Especially 2. If it wasn't for the damn 2 button firing it wouldn't be quite so impossible. But in Keen 4, the hidden level, Pyramid of the Forbidden, on hard mode -- HAH. Impossible. In 5 and 6 the hidden levels aren't difficult as they are just fun mega-point levels.

Recently I've been playing Fallout 2 since everyone's been talking about it, and it was quite difficult just getting started, with no armor, no skills, and a mediocre weapon, it is difficult to kill anything at all, so most of it was spent sneaking around and trying to steal/find enough stuff to get some armor, and running from geckos. Once you get a bit of an arsenal built up it gets a lot easier.

Lol rockstar is in enough hot water as it is with all the anti-violent videogame freaks out there, if they had the player act out a somewhat-recent terrorist attack on the US, they'd be up to their eyeballs in hatemail and someone would find some legal dirt on them I'm sure. Piss off the wrong people... I wouldn't rule out a physical attack on Rockstar either, some whackjob will probably send them a mailbomb or drive a van full of nitro into the building.

You never know with rockstar though, maybe it'll be the next "hot coffee". "Mile high club"?
