I do think Oldman acted better than Ledger =D

Mmmm its a close one for me... I won't say one performed better than the other.. but I do think Heath's character was more challenging a role. That said, Oldman absolutely nailed Commish Gordon.

dissonnance, is that saying that Leon is a better movie than DK, or that Stansfield is a better villian than Joker, or that Gary Oldman's performance in DK was better than Heath's?

Well either way I guess its correct. Except maybe the last one. Both were fantastic..

Saw it once and thought it was pretty damn good. Saw it a second time about 2 weeks later, and now that the hype for me has faded.. its not very good. I think batman begins is a better movie. Yes, the joker was played absolutely superbly, but that is the only performance in the entire movie I would rate above "good", except maybe lucius fox and alfred, but they're very small parts. Gordon is also played well. The writing was annoying for everyone else. Two-face, batman/bruce, and rachel, very poor in my opinion. Everything that could have been a metaphor was so blatantly thrown in my face 15 times over it just completely deflated the entire movie. The action sequences were okay at best, but I'm someone who is very critical of high action shit.

I could lay out a list of things I didn't like, but I'm too lazy to type. Right now I'd give the movie about a 7 out of 10, and thats with a curve due to my first impression. About 3 of those points are just for the Joker. Heath is truly a joy to watch in that role.

I don't think I'll ever watch that movie again. Things just seemed to.. happen. The movie didn't seem to have any kind of rhythm or flow, no movement, it just kinda did things.

Everything? really? you could tell your character to pinch a loaf on a sleeping dog? Dance a jig? Say anything beyond the 3 options you're given? Killing kids does nothing for the game, never has, and never will. It doesn't enhance the experience, it doesn't give a feeling of 'freedom'. It's stupid. It'd be stupid for them to include it, considering it'd likely cause the game to be banned in some countries and at least have the rating go up as you stated. Why would they severely slash their target audience just so you can kill kids, which has absolutely not a single thing to do with the gameplay?

Yes, fallout had many different paths you could take, many different options along the way, but it is not a complete freedom game. there are still a set number of missions, a set number of endings, and only certain things you could do. Theres a ton of ways to go about doing the things they have given you to do, but you're still wandering down a set path.

In my opinion, what made fallout great was the dark humor(don't even try to say killing kids is somehow dark humor), the involved plot, the many different ways you could achieve your goal, and of course the setting and interesting characters. Killing kids, or any NPC really, has nothing to do with it.

How can you be angry because you can't kill children? Is that a key part to fallout 1/2? Did your average player of FO1/2 even try to kill a child? You're just digging for something to be mad about.

Just listen to yourself. I want to kill children. What the fuck?

    Oh thanks frie! I shall!

If you want to see some huuge overhanging routes, come to the red river gorge in Kentucky..

This wall(called the Motherlode) is just fucking huuuge, a picture doesn't do it justice. Its a very very long face, probably 1000ft+, very tall and very overhung. Spots of it have to be around 40* overhanging, with some roof sections. Very stout climbing.

    [Blocked Image: http://www.jordanolsen.org/media/ben/rock%20climbing.jpeg]

That picture probably only shows 1/3rd of the face, if that.

Whats the fun in falling at all!? After all, its called climbing, not falling! My pad is just there so I don't hurt myself in the tries it takes before I finish the climb. I just like climbing and pushing myself to the very edge of my technical abilities and strength, and on a rope I can't do that. Bouldering is like the sprinting of climbing. Maximum strength and maximum technique for a short period.

    Edit : nice photo

yeah we use the V grades for bouldering here. I climb around v5. The problem I'm climbing in the pic is probably v5+, maybe v6. Its hard to tell. I've climbed a v5 that was harder than it, but I've also climbed a v6 that was easier than it. I'll probably call it a v5 when I finally get it!

I've never climbed trad before, and don't really care to. I'm not a fan of lead climbing and the additional risk aspect of trad makes it even less appealing to me.
