There's a brush based entity to HL2/CS called trigger_weapon_strip
it will strip the player off the weapons and you can set it to destroy the weapons.
The easier way is of course to make the map for HL2 singleplayer so the player wont have any weapons to begin with

Getting better and better

Well yes, but surely that would mean it'd make more sense to continue with the hl1 version, as that is substantially more "done" then the hl2 version.
I agree, it would have been nice to see something get released. The dev team probably thought it was no use in continuing work on an obsolete engine and decided to upgrade it. I hope they didn't start ALL OVER again.
Anyways, I'd hate to see Nightwatch get caught by the Duke-Nukem-Forever-syndrome

You must realize that the thing about singleplayer mods is, that you can't release it until it really is done. Because it's all about the story. You can't have a mod that suddenly just ends during a random level. Of course you can do the "episodic release" that people have been getting into.
With multiplayer you can release a beta 0.000001 and just update it as you go.

Overall it looks good. Lighting is ok, it has a few different colours to it.
I guess you could have used more variation on the textures, there's a lot of white/gray concrete texture everywhere. But I guess it fits the theme of the underground bunker/base.
The problem with indoor maps is that making interesting brushwork (especially for hallways and such) isn't always that easy. The rooms might end up looking lame and just filled with random prop models.
I think the brushwork on this one is ok. Nothing to get too excited about.
(The picture in the top center, the doorway with the hole over it looks really weird, as does the metal bars running in the ceiling
)And btw. Welcome to the core

Only Trackmania Nations at the moment. Damn that game is frustrating, yet somehow awesome...

-
Awesome model, awesome render

-
I'm not believing it until I see it.

-
yep, this is definitely the best singleplayer mod for hl2 out there, at the moment. The story telling isn't the best possible, but what can you do unless you want to do voice acting

Equilibrium = the best
I'm expecting great things of Ultra Violet

, upon hearing that Oblivion went gold, my radeon commited suicide -
Whether or not Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the planet, every braincell in my head is saying that people in Iran are not stupid enough to use nuclear weapons against another nation.
Iran knows what will happen once they use a nuke (or even attempt to use one) on, let's say Israel.
->
the USA finally gets the green light they've been looking for on the Iran situation and...
*SNAP*
Iran turned into rubble.
I can't imagine how Iran wouldn't see this one coming. Religion can cause war , but attacking another country with nukes is suicide.
I wouldn't know about religion though, I don't believe in shit

Good concept art there, looking forward to seeing your mod in-game

Good job Holeman, I don't know about you but at the times I've done something good like that, I got a great feeling, it's indescribable really
My good deeds are not fighting related though

I saved a ~5 year old German kid from drowning a few years ago at a tourist resort in Spain. His mother was hysterical when she heard what had happened.
A few days later I saw the same kid in the water, this time he had air-filled floating thingies around his arms so I guess he learnt his lesson

Another great reason for buying a DS instead of PSP.

Though, this is just one game. I have no idea what the loading times are usually on PSP

Very nice

Looks great. Only thing that looks weird is the trees (in the 3d skybox I presume). The fog makes them look way too light?
