As the insanity continues the ultimate nemesis has been born.

    It's the generous cyanide bottle

Since I got a job recently, I thought I'd post a few pics.

I work at an isp/cable company. It's a big open office on 2 floors. In the same building as Bugbear Entertainment, the makers of the game "Flatout".

Anyway here's the pics, they're not that great since I took them with my

    cellphone.

    My work desk & computer.

    [Blocked Image: http://www.laakkonen.net/workdesk.jpg]

View from my desk, there are 2 bigass TV screens just next to my "cubicle". For comparison the tv on the left is 28".

The right TV is a flatscreen, my guess is it's a 52".

rofl. the idea of broken wall elements stuck on it is really cool.

maybe try to redo this model. looks quick and dirty somehow. anyway: col idea. keep on it!

Yeah I'm not completely happy with the result of the texturemap especially. Also I would have liked to make it real hands but I'm not that good yet

My low poly modelling madness keeps on rolling.

This time it's the evil toilet paper rolls with toothbrush swords

    Awesome CJ

You gonna add different colours/materials to the seat or do they look like that in real life?

I love the cartoony feeling of the whole project, textures & uvmaps are great. In-game looks ok.

However I agree with ReNo, the bunny looks a bit scary. I'd prefer a slightly lighter colour of fur to make it cuter but it's your project and you decide how she looks.

oh no, please, don't make an eot mod for real But haha, nice style jal

No worries KoKo it's not for a mod

It's just part of my learning process with 3dsmax. Been modelling with it

for 3 days now. Plan is to make crazy and original low poly models, maybe for a source map.

I like the lighting, it has a consistant mood to it.

    Nice detailing and great exteriors.

  • Your pros and cons?

    • JAL
    • April 17, 2006 at 8:07 PM

    Pros:

-I got loads of original & crazy ideas in my head.

-I've always been able to learn new software even in a short period of time.

-Good knowledge of Hammer & Photoshop

    -Learning modelling

    Cons:

-I sometimes waste too much time on playing games and get nothing done

    -Almost no programming knowledge.

-I do things at the last minute.

Started screwing around with 3dsmax yesterday,

here's the 4th model I've made so far in 3dsmax.

Obviously very low poly, render is fast one but I'm learning

    It's a flatscreen monitor
