Interesting switch from 2d artist to programmer!

As other people have mentioned, Blizzard have some excellent art directors, but I am still really sad to see that they are going in the WoW direction with both SC2 and D3. Diablo deserves a darker, realistic and gritty look.

Guys posting pictures were you can see their underwear is just disgusting...

It's an unsettling possibilty that I fear too. One of the largest pieces of evidence for Diablo 3 is Blizzard's cryptic "Team 3" job listings, and their project is called a "next-gen mmo."
Are you sure that Project 3 and their Next-gen MMO is the same project? It was my impression that Project 3 has been well underway now for quite some time while the Next-gen MMO is still on a prototype level.

It was indeed some tough days to go through! It doesn't seem like that much can be done to prevent this except for maybe giving a few other people access to the server.

LOL @ the fake account and the that Wintermute forum thread!

It's incredible that they actually managed to get this game commercially published and on the shelves.

Oblivion was just never interesting in any way...

I must say that this looks pretty damn awesome!

Very nice timing to announce this on top of the dropped support. Considering that around half a year has passed since the Crysis release, then they should be able to have either some screenshots or a trailer ready soon.
-
It is indeed quite empty, but what you have looks good. Did you not do some an INS level though? Where are the pics from it? Also the pics should of course open in the same way.
Your site or at least your resume should also more clearly state if you are going for a position as env artist or level designer.

Great idea, much more interesting for me than the Dominance War:)

Sorry if I am seem to be overly defensive here, but I have a few more things: The level design part of the course is focused on making levels fun and then leaving graphics to the artists.
Another thing to have in mind is that this is the first time they try Unreal or any 3d engine at all.

I just added videos for KATAMA and Blackstone.

The course is a part of the Media Technology and Games degree, which has two lines: Design and Analysis and Technology. The first is about game design and the second about programming which means that the games should not be judged too much on the visuals as there were no real artists.
