I have The Witcher. Didn't felt it the first time i gave it a try. Maybe it's like Dragon Age that it has to grow on me first.
Another one i still have to play is Mass Effect 2 but i heard the rpg is super dumbed down so i better play that when i'm in the mood for an action game.

I'm really craving for a good rpg right now so i give Morrowind a chance and hope that it is better balanced then Oblivion. Only played it briefly in the past, this is the first time i give it a real chance. It's pretty cool so far. Had to get used first to read a lot of text instead of npc's actualy talking.
One thing bothers me tho and maybe someone who played it can tell me if its normal. It seems so easy to make money in this game. I have played two evenings (~12 hours) and i already got like 50k gold and 70 armor. (i played as a thief so that helped to get some good and expensive stuff but most of it i got from selling goblin and dark brotherhood armor) Is that normal? Compared to Oblivion these are crazy numbers. I hope thers gonna be some pretty expensive stuff in the game that i can spent my gold on. At this rate i will be a ingame millionaire in no time.

That looks very impressive and personaly i'm happy about the direction that handheld/smart phone tech takes. This stuff means there will be plenty of jobs for guys like us in the future even in case development of AAA games takes a hit in the coming years.

Are producers in movies/tv shows different from producers in the games industry? Because i consider them the guys who have to hold a project back creatively in order to stay within budgets, time frames etc. Important jobs but i wouldn't put their names on the cover of a product as a proof of quality.

Stopped playing Oblivion again after around 40 hours. I came to the conclusion that the balancing of it is completely broken. Even with the mod that i played the game got more difficult with every level up. That's just a motivation killer. You wait and wait to get better to finaly go back into some dungeons that were too hard at the beginning of the game just to be welcomed by much stronger enemys then the first time. Like in the Shivering islands plugin there is a graveyard or something. When i was level 1 there were 2 easy enemies and one hard one but at least i made it inside. Now i'm level 16 and there are three super hard enemies waiting at the entrance. All i can do is run away and safe my ass as soon as they see me.
The game would work much better without any leveling at all and just skill improvements instead. It's really a shame because the first 20-30 hours of a new Oblivion game are always a lot of fun before the same frustrations kick in.

Looks awesome Minos! A few small things you could improve for your portfolio shots tho:
In the first pic:
- have some sort of futuristic skyline in the background to add more depth
- reduce the brightness outside, right now it looks as if all the inside light sources arn't really necessary since the sun is still shining outside
- use a different texture for each of the ads
- the white font signs look super bright yet they don't seem to emmit any light to the surrounding.

I wouldn't go to a dentist school with root canals. It's something that only experienced and specialized dentists (so called endodontists) are good at.
Sure they have to learn it somewhere but please not in my mouth. I only have one set of teeth.
I had two root canals done at normal dentists. One of them turned out to be too short so there is nerve remaining in the tooth and it must be redone earlier or later. The other one the dentist misjudged the position of the root completely. So he pierced my tooth on the side by accident and was messing around deep inside my gums with his needles instead of the tooth.

Are you insuranced in Germany now? They should pay for it then if its medicaly necessary. Could be that you have to pay for IV sedation tho since local anaesthetic is the standard. But you could try to explain that you are phobic and that you need full sedation to get full coverage for everything.

Got two crowns and one inlay for my teeth this week. After eleven months of constant dentist visits. These things cost a fortune. Teeth stuff is so expensive even with insurance
Should have brushed my teeth better as a kid. -
The scary thing is that i remember reading similar things about RTW already two or three years ago. I think it was on that one website where everybody in the games industry can rate his company.

No its more like bowling with cubic bowling balls.

Has potential for massive multiplayer trolling.

I know that feeling but not so much with games. I get it after finishing tv shows that i really liked. It's a certain sadness because a) it's over and i would love to see more of it b) because i know i will never again experience the awesomness of that show for the first time.

I utterly loved that one as a kid:
Good luck tracking it down tho. It's a TV-movie from the 80's. Maybe there is an obscure torrent of it somewhere.External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Reinstalled Oblivion after my disappointment with Gothic 3. Playing The Shivering Isles add-on now for the first time and also intalled a realism mod to get rid of the stupid leveling system from the vanilla version. It's quite fun so far. Just what i need to get my RPG fix.

None of your links work keres.

Picked up Gothic 3 for 9.99 Euro yesterday. Already regret it. What an god awful game. Even after years of patches and community patches it is full of bugs and glitches that jump right into your face. The gfx are ugly and the frame rate super low, the combat is beyond stupid. It's like someone took the after birth from Oblivion and made a game out of it.

Alphaville is a brainfuck. Be warned.

It's like a Blade Runner type film noir sci-fi but they used completely normal everyday backdrops and costumes to shit on all the special fx and stuff used by other sci-fi movies of that time (mid 60'S). It's also grotesque in many other ways.

which is the way to go if you ask me ! much finer control and you dont have to learn/apply 2 separate works flows at the same time to build you levels
terrains = 90s
It all has it's pros and cons if you ask me. I requested a terrain tool because in some situations it just makes more sense and you don't have to rely on an artist to create some smooth terrain for you (which you cant modify by yourself in the level editor if it needs tweaking).
For close up and rocky/rough stuff models are cooler because it looks more detailed.
