Fallout 3 was a lot better balanced then Oblivion so i'm confident they will get it halfway right in Skyrim.

Some Eastern German video game machine by Robotron sometime in the mid 80's. It had multiple games inbuilt. Here is a flash simulator of it:

The fan needs to be rebalanced with tiny weights. I usualy use small pieces of bubble gum.

I was trying to play Fallout:NV but i find it unplayable. The controls are really the worst that i've ever encountered in a PC game. Something is utterly broken there and yes i have tried ini tweaks and everything. But also the gfx are very weird. It's like the fps are jumping all time and together with the spongy and laggy controls it makes me feel sick.
Also steam pissed me off once again with this purchase because it's forcing the German version on me even when i set my profile and everything to America.

So far i got Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, Operation Flashpoint: DR, Patrician IV, Saints Row 2, GRAW 1 &2 and Torchlight.

Dragon Age more or less is the inofficial Baldurs Gate 3. The structure of the game world and quests is similar, the combat system is the same (at least on PC), even the magic spells, but it feels more polished and precise. The way you handle the party and how they interact with each other is identical etc.

The combat system was the part that i loved most about Dragon Age. The tactical possibilities felt so rewarding. You just have to get the hang of pausing the game every half second or so to make your adjustements and give orders to the individual party members.
Also it's more or less ideantical to the Baldurs Gate combat system just more polished and these two games are still considered the best RPG's by a lot a lot of people.

I still haven't played ME 2 yet. Was kinda put off when i read they abandoned the rpg stuff (instead of improving it). Also too lazy to import the English version of the game.
-
By that they probably mean the renderer.
-
Yea i don't think the engine ever has been the problem. The games are just fucking huge and complex and Bethesda doesn't put the main focus on art.
-
I hope it's better balanced this time. Also happy about the setting. Solstheim was my favourite part of Morrowind.

Played some Mount & Blade: Warband. Really love the idea behind it (take an medieval rpg, get rid of all the fantasy and magic stuff, add support for huge parties and combat etc.). I just wish there was more to do in the game and more diverse quests. After a while it gets quite repetitive. But for an indie game developed by only two people it is really amazing and offers a lot of bang for the buck.

I would love to watch more blurays but they are still too expensive imo. I rarely rewatch movies so spending more on a bluray then what i would pay for a cinema ticket hurts a lot.
Renting is no option either because all i can rent here are rather new mainstream movies and not the old movies that i'm mostly interested in to watch in higher res then before.
