I'm on a film noir roll lately. Have seen more than 50 so far this year.

I would love to see a decent wrpg on NDS.

I just invented technofascism. A supercomputer powered by PS3 chips gets put in charge of everything and he decides which people can stay alive based on their physical and mental abilities. First thing he will put all coders in gulag so that noone can change his programs. [Blocked Image: http://i.imgur.com/LJ9lq.gif]

I've played a bit of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future while sick in bed. Seems to have way more text than the earlier ones which is super annoying.

The first game where it bothered me was Killzone 2. What is their fov, like 35? Cool game nonetheless but i can totally see how it makes it unplayable for some people. It feels like playing with eyes that protrode 2 meters out of your head.

Lets wait and see whats next for Egypt. I don't see any reason to celebrate this as long as its not clear where it leads. It's naive to think that revolution in a muslim country must lead to democracy. The political dynamics are very different over there. It all could be for the worse, maybe with an islamic theocracy or military junta next.

In the good tradition of representing mapcore the track just won a Mod of the Year award on rfactorcentral.com
I don't think i opened a release thread before so it's time for pimping and celebrations

what? why are we so afraid of some discussion on these boards? maybe it can turn out to be a little vicious, but as long as it's holding capacity why not?

I don't stop you from discussion. Only my personal experience. I try to avoid it. It easily ends in awkwardness because we're all bros here to some degree and then we make each other look like fools in front of everybody else if it gets too heated.

Political discussions on mapcore are always butthurt inducing. It's better not to get too deep into them.

I kinda agree with the antireligious sentiment but i don't need a film to tell me that it's all bollocks. I find it quite obvious.
The problem that i see with youtube films like that is that the fans fill their (religious) void with other forms of collective delusions instead of freeing themself from that kind of stuff. Utopia and conspiracy theories to give simple answers to complex questions. It follows the same mechanisms that religion does.
I also can't shake the feeling that there is a hidden communist agenda behind the anti monetary stance, things like Venus project etc. They have just given it a new fancy name to make it interesting for a different group of people.

The Teksavvy guy is pretty good. The other two are complete douches and liars.
Btw how does TV and telephone work in Canada? In Germany it becomes pretty quickly the standard to get everything over broadband for a fixed price. I don't think that would make much sense in Canada with that pricing. Imagine you are over your bandwidth limit and then you have to pay hundreds of dollars extra for the rest of the month for watching HDTV or something. It really does destroy tech innovation.

I'm not very fond of conspiracy theorist agitprop. If you're interested in hard facts about the world check out http://%7boption%7d and make up your own mind. There is data that suggests that the world doesn't go down the shitter and that quality of life has improved greatly for the majority of people on this planet during the last couple decades especialy in the so called third world.

What's up with all ther superhero movies lately? Are they the new postapocalyptic movies?

Does Canada not have antitrust laws? This all sounds very fucked up. Surely there must be something in the constitution or somewhere that overrides such harmful regulations by the CRTC. Probably a matter of someone stepping up and sueing them through all instances. Only it would take years and meanwhile they laugh and happily collect money from all Canadian internet users.

-
Poor Canada, that really sucks. But there is no way such a model will survive. It's just anachronistic and will make Canada fall behind considerably tech wise. Even the most stupid politicians will notice that quickly. Sounds also like a good opportunity for some other big company to invest into infrastructure and attract a lot of Canadian customers.

That touch pad on the back looks very unergonomic to me. Awkward way to hold and control the thing.

Not so easy to come up with a list. Usualy the ride is more important to me than the arrival. But i tried:
Stranger Than Paradise
Sunset Blv.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Duellists
White Heat
The Lady From Shanghai
Unforgiven
Casablanca
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso
Umberto D.

You guys should check your privacy settings. A lot of your data is visible to everyone. I think Facebook made it public to everyone again when they introduced the new profile.
I had set most of my stuff to friends only already but suddenly my whole profile was public again.
