Yeah I'm planning on getting into zbrush soon (time permitting) more for fun than any other reason ![]()

Came back to this after a (long) while and added some stuff, fixed the lips, changed the bone structure (nose is thicker and added the bit under the eye as suggested) aaaaaaaand just learning.. stuff. Yeah. I think it's a lot better than it was, mainly thanks to the suggestions here
Started on the ear as well, but it's touuuuuuuuuuugh.Wireframe:

Final Fight was ace, I wasted so much money on that arcade machine.
Oh and... "Your fist is the only thing you can rely on" ... heh, someone didn't do their research. What do you think the most common bones broken in fights are? I'll let you guess.

Adjust it to what? now its grey, with some slight blue..
The rough colour of where the landscape hits the sky, so it blends into the skybox.

Insta, that's lookin' really tight

Considering you can make a nice character model with ~3.5k tris, I'd say 2.4 for a street light is excessive

You barely notice the high detail parts ingame anyway, especially when you can't get close to them (the player will never spend much time face to face with the bulb part of the street light, for example). Have a look at some of the valve props and check out the polycounts for ballpark figures, if unsure.

Oh and FF is recruiting a level designer & texture artist(s), and we'd love to hear from you mapcorians

Push is a lot of fun, particularly because it doesn't contain any grens. It's a refreshing change if you're bummed out on CTF -- it's also important to make sure we've got all of the main game modes covered, a lot of people just seem to think TF is CTF when it's so much more flexible & varied. I can understand reservations toward push having a more realistic grounding, but hunted? Hunted was always quasi-realistic (well, as realistic as HL1 could get), but now it's a place that is a lot more alive and has continuity between areas

Yeah the mod looks very interesting

It's still a pain in the arse to position models

Uh, so you basically admit the post's accusation is true and then call it a "silly post"? Not trying to derail, but hey. Some of those renders are nice, but it just looks a bit too familiar for my tastes (and yes, you can see the irony considering the mod I work on
), I've seen enough m4s and mp5s for a lifetime. Some new and original weapons would be a great boon. I think 90% of mods seem to have the same weapons, and it bores people to see it, no matter how well executed. -
Someone join us as a texture artist then! D:

It's pretty mild here, but dull. Scotland is generally like this

I should have more stuff up next week, time permitting. Polishing stuff up takes ages >_
