im with you Izuno, I am behind too. I have to finish Burnout 4, GOW & Ratchet 3, then I can buy SC: CT . so we are both behind the times.

  • so, any of you have 360s?

unfortunately like millions of others, I cannot get one until after the new year. There isn't any games that I really want. Gear of War is next year and so is Oblivion.

Personally, if you look at Most Wanted for example, the graphics look great on the xbox2, but when compared to Burnout 4 on the xbox1 it still holds its own. I think the xbox2 will make games look amazing, im more interested in the gameplay and how the games will play again and again.

Started another map this week, going for more Resident Evil 4 style, with abandoned buildings, etc. Still work in process.

Adding some environment audio to this project, such as church bell is ringing, water splashing, blood churning noises, etc.

if you look on ebay. Most of the high prices have fallen, to the $800 area. Granted its not christmas yet, but i this since there is over 400 pages of xboxs for sale, I doubt anyone is going to pay more than 600-800 dollars per.

I'm waiting until I can buy on in the store or online for the price it was available at. These idiots either have too much money to be spending these outragous prices.

wow! great stuff! a few comments

    Helicopter looks awesome!

The guy looks like he's stoned.

The angel's face looks like she has a face lift. its something with the way the bump map is being rendered. The wings could use some transparencies on the ends, would make the effect of wings come out alot better.

the sword handle looks like there's some stretching, in the bump map.

fixed the scales problem that johnm487 noticed. Added the rear hands, finished UV'ing the body, now onto the head.

currently in UV mapping hell! LOL. The spec map will really bring out the dragon scales and other areas.

touched up the pagoda some more, adding dirt around the bottom of the pillars.

id just like to say that playing on moderate difficulty is extremely challenging. Anyone who buys a $50 game and plays it on easy obviously isn't looking for a challenge, they are looking to quickly finish it.

I can't imagine playing it on a harder lvl.

about 80% done texturing the pagoda. A few tweaks, then moving onto the dragon.

Working on a 12 day challenge over at Polycount.com. Started on Nov 8th - ends Nov 20th.

    Requirements:

    1024 triangles

    512x512 texture map

    512x512 spec map

    512x512 transparency map

My model clocks in at 1020 triangles, currently UV unwrapping at the moment.

For only 19, you have alot of great environments!

The webpage needs alot of work though, for example every page reloads the same images again. It would be easier to make frames or iframes and just load the page you needed underneath the newspaper image. Also, the images flicker when loading the next page with the same images. So using a iframe would prevent this from happening.

The newspaper image is very blurry, and it doesn't really seem to serve a purpose. the button layout alone the top works well, but as mentioned before, its going to be very busy when you create more levels.

The contact page is take off your AIM name, unless u want spammers to use it. If someone is interested in you, they use email
