Looks sorta Jet Set Radio Future to me, which is a good thing Textures look quite simplistic and cartoony, and together with the over the top sunlight colour and rather crazy vertical building, it really is quite reminiscent of certain JSRF levels. It is a bit blocky though, Jet Set Radio had a more haphazard approach to their building and deviated, pretty much all the time, from lining up correctly or right angles.

    [Blocked Image: http://www.snarkpit.net/pits/reno/random/jsrf.jpg]

I don't really feel that the factory style brick building fits with the pretty unrealistic apartment block type one, mainly due to the unrealistic textures clashing with the realistic ones.

RE4 really is a whole new game - liking the earlier games in the series almost makes you LESS likely to enjoy 4

Surely there must be some file format that Gmax can EXPORT to that something like Milkshape or XSI can IMPORT?

I've a feeling it would be either Psychonauts of Shadow of Colossus, but considering NEITHER ARE OUT HERE I can't rightfully give it to either. It doesn't seem right to give it to Ninja Gaiden Black since its a re-release of last year's game with a few new bells and whistles, but I can see why others might, as it is an exceptional game. Resident Evil 4 is probably my pick off the top of my head.

Same thing happened to me with some antique chairs - had a party and two famly heirloom chairs got stolen by some randoms. We found the remains of one of them in the local park, the other was never found Police thought they knew who did it, as did my friends and I, but there was no proof and nothing done. Sad days.

Sorry to hear about your loss dude

Yeah, and nobody else releases expansion packs for their games that are essentially more of the same, do they? Difference is, HL2 was actually very widely praised, and so it's no surprise valve think people want it.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not excited about aftermath whatsoever. It just seems that everybody is jumping on the valve condemnation bandwagon these days, and taking any opportunity to slate them.

  • New Diablo coming next fall?

Blizzard wouldn't really be competing with themselves, they'd be widening their range - if they have 2 online RPG's in their portfolio, why should they care which of the two a person is playing? Two games are going to appeal to more people than one game, so there is sense behind it being an MMO. Many WoW fans that aren't necessarly Diablo fans would be intrigued by the fact it's an MMO made by Blizzard and check it out, potentially while keeping their WoW accounts active at the same time. Diablo fans are obviously going to be intrigued, if not downright gagging for it

That said, there isn't necessarily a need for another MMO right at the minute, so while it may appeal to non-WoW players and some WoW players, would it sell as much as an MMO as it would as a new single player game in the current market? I couldn't say at the moment to be honest. I'd prefer it to be a single player personally, but I never played Diablo 2 and only played Diablo on the playstation (yeah, I didn't have a PC back then), so my opinion isn't worth much

Nothing wrong with it for me. Are you searching for words that have any possible links to whats coming up? Try something entirely unrelated - the name of a game or something - and see if it still happens.

Strikes me as quite odd to have links to each map in a bar along the top - what happens if you want to add another map at a later date? Doesn't seem to be very extendable, unless you add another row or something which would just end up looking silly. Not a big fan of the soft bevel effect on the screenshots either. Otherwise it seems quite functional.

Looks like some sort of industrial mechanical handler thing, for moving about stuff in environments that people can't enter. But then, I could be horribly horribly off the mark
