They were 14 and thought that "life is not worth living"?

I just don't know what to say, life doesn't start before around 20 or something, they practically knew nothing about life.

    It's a waste.

Well, I was a vegan some time back, I was on the "rastafarian diet", eat as much fruit as you can, keep you going like a horse, replaced ALL meat with tofu and soybeans, I actually got really good at making those foods, I didn't drink alcohol in any form, and no eggs, not milk or butter, only vegan stuff.

I didn't go to the gym, but I still was like a marathoner, I was playing basketball and could easily do the 2 20min rounds without even breaking a sweat. I didn't have even a flu in like 4 years, I never called in sick, not even once. My immunity levels were high I guess.

Then, I dropped the vegan act and started to drink alcohol, but I "balanced" it by going to the gym, I looked healthier, but I was no where near my peak, then, despite my workout routine that was more harsh than when I was playing basketball. But still I got like extra 20 pounds, and they were no muscles, unless you call muscles, when you lose your sixpack and get a gut like a pillow (it's not large, but it is still noticeable).

So, I'm telling you, right diet is the key, and one of the biggest things is, DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL it'll mess your metabolism and make your body in to a piece of junk!

I think Chromehounds is pretty impressive. And Gears of War and UT2k7 if it is coming to Xenon. And the mother of all, Elderscroll IV: Oblivion.

Oh and have to add, Wardevil and that Project Offset (again, if that is coming to Xenon).

I don't mean that you should be eating bad like MacDonalds food all the time, just eat normal food like meat, bread, pasta, potatoes, vegitables, fruit, fish and so on and move a lot.

But that right there is actually "eating right" and eating right = healthy. The fake sugars and light cokes are just marketting fads, and actually faulty adverticing to be healthy, they are actually worse to your health than food with real sugar and normal coke.

And anyone who has even mild knowledge on the sugject knows that. And, you can't find much anything that they haven't added some extra kalsium or vitamins, well, atleast not here in Europe.

Why similar? Because both are fps?

    Obviously not

They both look like they play pretty much the same and PDZ seems to compliment Halo on more than one occasion, it almost seems like PDZ is the Halo 3 with different graphics.

Maybe Yoga or Fitness instructors might know better what to eat.

I never understood what the big thing was about Halo, but I think I like Perfect Dark Zero, even tho it might seem just a tad similar to Halo.

I recommend going to a gym which has gym coaches who can give you advise on what to cut from your food schedule and what to eat instead. Especially how much you should eat, because this depends on your body weight and other factors. The article already got some valuable info though

I agree, but the coaches on my gym are no health food experts, as in they don't know jack shit about a good diet, they only know about the basic stuff (eat lots of red meat) and the "take two of these pills in the morning and three liters of this stuff to max out the musclemass on your groin and two scoops of this to make your adrenaline pump so you can smash someones scull open if they tick you off, and finally don't stop benchpressing even if there is little bleeding from your ears", I think they are more like bodybuilding experts than fitness experts.

There are alot of mods that stay in beta and play like full features ready to release games, so I wouldn't say that it's too much to expect from a mod that is in beta stage.

But that said, I wouldn't like every mod to take as long to develop as NS took before even the first beta release. But at that point it was already a full game.

Nice one, have to actually take a close look at that. Maybe I should stop drinking every weekend and get my groove back.

Nugget of truth: "Want to appear smarter? Order sushi. Types of fat called EPA and DHA in fatty fish like salmon are important components of brain and sperm cells. So you're covered no matter which body part you think with."

The amount of money spent into a collection like that is freakin' insane! I would have personally hooked up with Warren Buffet and get some serious kick ass investment info and sink my money into that instead of toys.

Sure, he may be happy now, but when his house (and all its collectables) burns to the ground in a fire ball of death, Im sure he would have prefered to invest the money into good stocks / bonds etc... instead.

The only way this could pay off is if this collection becomes extremely valuable in the future and he sells it. Otherwise, I don't see this helping him out financially when he's in his late 60's, too old to work and is crapping his diapers while living in a cardboard box because he cannot afford a retirement home..

    Cheers

And not for a second did you stop to think that, this guy might actually be loaded, I mean literally rolling in sacks of money and playboy bunnies. You related him to yourself, because you think that only nerds collect those kinds of things?

If the guy has inherited a fortune of millions of dollars and he goes to work, but has to spend his income somehow, because he doesn't actually have to work, so he spends all to these collectibles.

    Talking about narrowminded

I think everyone is obsessed by something, ofcourse there are varing degrees of obsessions, since some would pay thousands of dollars to get something, and some would pay mere hundred dollars or so. I like to think that I'm obsessed with Blizzard products, but I wouldn't pay several thousand dollars for some piece of Blizz goodnes, I would max around 150-200. But that is obsessed non the less.

    What a wisdom

And about as close to the truth there is, I was hoping that after about a decade of FPS games, I wouldn't have to play doom anymore. If you know what I mean.

I have bought comics that later I noticed are worth around 20€-50€, sure as hell I keep them in plastic wraps, I don't have any comic books on my shelf that I haven't read or I'm about to read (got so many that reading all of them would take a serious part of my daily life away).

I have bought collectors editions for the sheer fact that I love the franchise so much, last being the WoW collectors edition that cost around 80€ or so.

I have alot of action figures from different franchises, and I collect Heroclix just because they are comic book superheroes.

There are alot of franchises that are only about the collecting, like card playing games, Macig: the gathering and sucj, the whole Battletech universe (and anything FASA/Wizkids has ever done) Warhammer 40k (and anything Games Workshop has ever done).
