This begs a question if we are talking about the empire of Old movie era, or the Empire after the movies, since I believe that even with the Empire after the Rebel victory and Emperor dead even the Grand Admiral Thrawn and his mighty strategical attacks FROM THE FUCKING SPACE WITH A STAR DESTROYER AND A FLEET OF HALF A DOZEN SQUADS OF TIE FIGHTERS would wipe the Nazi germany from the face of the earth. But I could see how Nazis might come victorious from this battle, I mean, Big Bertha shot shells almost to the Stratosphere, so if they would be able to shoot it 50 times longer, they might hit the Thrawns ship for sure

Atlast they have Beast, how can you make X-Men movie without him? It's like making X-Force movie without Cable or Avengers movie without Iron Man or Thor.

But on to the point, I'm hoping that they would make more like a thinking movie from X3 than fast paced action spectacle, I have nothing against action movies nor do I think that X-Men doesn't fit in action movies, but I would love a film where they would go deeper to the makings of the world around them. I have read alot of X-Men and it just seems stupid to have movies where they just go somewhere and rip everyone a new ass hole and then leave.

The movie looks neat but I'm not hoping that much, and I think Spidey movie with Venom is going to kick them off the map and then some.

I'm pretty sure that video is from before the Xbox 360 was released.

    Quote

As others have said though, that is Rainbow Six 3 on the Xbox, not a 360 / Xenon / 2pi game

    Quote

well it looks pretty stupid considering how its not even an xbox 360

Why do people insist on hanging on minor details? I just have grown accustomed to cooler word Xenon, I hated the word Xbox from the beginning anyway.

This is Xbox and not the console.

    [Blocked Image: http://www.kosmov.net/tiedostot/xbox.gif]

But anyway, why do parents insist on growing their children in to ignorant, whining, spineless, losers? Why can't some parent or parents just take up and say "we are going to raise our child as a good person, a rich person spiritually, it's going to be hard, but we chose to have kids and it's not easy, so we shouldn't be shitty parents just because we didn't know how hard it is to be a good parent" OR maybe they shouldn't have kids at all.

Because I hates the word 360, Xbox 360 doesn't mean anything, I hates it so very much.

Oh man, is this Kedhrin dude a retard or what

Well, ok, your average game developer might not take every mod out there in to consideration, but ok, let's see, the most popular games to day, let's see, yeah, those that have good mod support and active community thanks to them. Wow, that didn't even take half a brain and you are arguing against it?

Make something unreal contest is the living proof that game developers and other major companies such as graphics card maker nVidia don't give shit about mods

Mod community is a healthy sign to any game, end of story. If a game has strong community making mutators and modifications they make the game and the engine worth 10 fold what it was before. But hey I didn't know that you were a professional *tee hee*

I guess that it's just sad and true that people who don't love games make mods, yeah, those who hate gaming but love the green take the chance of making a mod for months on end just for that tiny chance for success, I mean it IS the easiest way to make money and all, atleast two or three guys have made money this way, you could be the fourth.

And if you can think a better way to make a portfolio that grabs game developers attenttion than a mod, well share it with the rest of us, oh might gandalf. Several people I know from game development circles from Finland have got their jobs by making a small one man product, usually a mod for some game with all custom content. Works way better than if you just had some crappy video showing your models spinning around or something like that.

But hey, you are entitled to your angry and narrowminded view.

I think people just might visit some more distant past than the modern times, you know, like something INTERESTING, and for the sake of security, they didn't have satellites and recording devices in the middle ages so they very wery well could have visited us. Only people who saw them were just tought to be crazy unable to explain anything about it.

Stephen Hawking is a stupid man for not thinking this up like I did, I'm smarter than that freak, and besides, I could beat his ass, I'm not afraid of him.

I would... hit the kid so hard that he turned from a boy to a girl and the Xenon turned in to a pony. She would be happy for the rest of her life, or untill I hit the pony so hard it turns in to a ferrari.

Ginny, I know what you mean, Galaxies are part of the universe as where cars are not part of the road. But I think it is still a misconception.

Like my theory about time and timetravel. I believe that timetravel is easy as pie, but we have the wrong way of measuring time and we don't understand how the time is handled by universe.

how is that even a valid analogy?

    how not?

because the road isn't defined by the cars.

Actually it is just as valid analogy as any. Don't forget that we observe GALAXIES and draw a conclusion that the UNIVERSE is expanding, here we just observe CARS and draw a conclusion that the ROAD is expanding.

no matter how awesome your mod is, how serious you are, how much you want to be a real studio. You are not a game studio, you are not working on anything professionaly and no matter how awesome the mod is it will not be taken seriously. games have one thing that defines them against mod's, they are realistic, money, millions of dollars, pressure with deadlines, marketing, etc.

you do not know these on mod's, no matter how much you think you know it, you don't.

I think alot of real developers watch what is happening on the mod scene, and the ones that matter ARE actually taking mods seriously, and that is the moving force, we also call gamers. They bring the money, they bring the volume, they are the ones that say what goes and what not. Simple.

Even when I agree that games have an advantage against mods in that they are products made by companies, companies that have to meet their financial ends to stay floating. BUT, I say this, even when you introduce any kind of sum of money, it doesn't automatically mean that it is anywhere near better than something made without a budget, if you want examples, go and play some of those horrible Terminator 3 games, something you don't want to spend your money nor your time on.

Mods have the advantage that they don't need to tie their staff under NDAs and they can share their product with the community in early stage of development, game developers like to hire "community heroes" to their teams, they bring publicity, it's social business afterall. Most mod teams have close ties to the community because they can have them. For example, how many developers names do you know from a blockbuster game? Against the possibility of actually personally knowing the name, the place where he lives and maybe even play a game or two against a mod developer.

Furthermore you have never actually run the OS so you can't really cast judgement on it and its still in beta stages so what you see could change and really already has from very early builds.

By seeing the OS I can't say it looks like shit? Wow, MS really did a number on me then

And by "you" you must mean someone else, since I'm so awesome that I can

well cool.. running on old laptop, sounds neat, I tought it didn't work on older models of GFX cards, that you needed the "Vista compatible card."

It look shit, I mean the same, which is shit, uninspired, maybe it won't totally blow on technical side.

An intresting idea is that the universe will expand so large that it will not have enough energy to hold itself together anymore and will collapse in what is called "The Big Crunch"

If the universe expands too large how can it collapse? Where do these theories come from, the clown school?
