How about a miniseries/movie/game that shows things from the German side of things? There's a side we never see or hear about in mass media. I mean sure, we won, they lost, we're great, blah blah blah, but I don't think every single German soldier was a cold blooded evil maniac, and I've certainly had enough of "The War, As Told By The Winning Side". Sure, we've got a few short segments in BoB, Der Untergang, and Letters From Iwo Jima but that's about it.
Although I can't imagine the general public being comfortable with a Call of Duty game where you play the single player story as a German soldier, but it would definitely be interesting. Call of Duty: Volksdeutsche

Another sequel by people who dont get it.
QFT. I'm all for the benefit of the doubt, but this is not Max Payne.
Quote from WikipediaA recent issue of Game Informer has revealed that the story is set 12 years after the last one (setting it in 2015, The first game being in 2001, the second being 2003). Payne has been cut loose from the NYPD, and has moved to São Paulo, Brazil where he's taken up employment in the private security sector, working for a wealthy local family.

What corwin, defrag, and klein said. Do you only buy PC exclusive games? If the PC version is great, who the hell cares if it came out on consoles or was developed with a console in mind before the PC? Some games play better on consoles, some play better on PC. Which is which is totally subjective (see FPS keyboard/mouse vs. controller argument that's been going on since the dawn of time). All that matters is whether or not the game is good. L4D plays great on PC. (to me) The above argument holds about as much water as a spaghetti strainer.
I was initially angry because I felt that L4D2 would mean a stop in content for L4D, making L4D feel like a half complete game with a $50 price tag. But after awhile I realized that I've gotten more value out of my L4D pre-order purchase (ie: well over 200 hours of gameplay) than I have with most games, and playing more L4D last night with some friends completely eradicated any doubts I had about L4D2. I pre-ordered L4D, and I'll probably pre-order L4D2.

In light of The Last Guardian being announced, and the fact that Shadow of the Colossus was amazing, I found a used copy of this on ebay:

I've heard it's quite amazing.

I initially had a problem with the L4D sequel so soon for all of the reasons stated above, but who am I kidding, I'll probably have it on pre-order as soon as it's on steam. Given Valve's track record, I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Now that I think about it, I didn't like steam when it first came out, and now I prefer buying games on steam; I was disappointed when they canceled Black Box and did Orange Box only, but now I don't care anymore because Portal and EP2 made the price well worth it several times over; and now I'm upset about L4D2 so soon after L4D, and valve will probably find some way to make me happy with the situation (like allowing L4D content to be played in L4D2 with the L4D2 enhancements)

That screen costs $419 in the states and €750 in Germany. Fail
Edit: I guess a screen from Samsung (26"!) makes a lot more sense http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0017H9 ... i100015-21Ah yeah... forgot about the whole currency conversion factor

Funny though, that samsung was the monitor I was going to buy instead of the dell, but I got the dell instead because it had a better warranty/return policy on stuck/dead pixels.

I got Uncharted with my PS3 but never played it until I saw the Uncharted 2 demo at the Sony Conference. Started playing the first one (about half-way through it) and it's spectacular. Sure, I could nit-pick it, but any flaws it has are well made up for by the rest of the game. I'll definitely be picking up Uncharted 2 and I'm hella looking forward to it.

I use this as my desktop (DVI), 360 (VGA), PS3 (HDMI), and PS2 (Composite) screen. Great and versatile for the price. In fact, now that my secondary monitor (samsung) just got a row of dead pixels about 1/3rd of the way down the screen, I'm tempted to pick up a second one to replace it). There's cheaper models with the same setup, but less input options (my setup still has an unused DVI, S-video, and Component inputs), so if you don't plan on adding any more consoles and keep it just your PC and your 360, you could settle for a cheaper/larger model that only has the connections you need.

MAG looks very meh. BF2 with 256 players. And BF2 was very meh.

Because I'm such a Splinter Cell fanboy, I shat bricks over the new direction that Conviction took, unleashing the bad ass in Sam Fisher that's been dormant for five games. I'm hella excited for it.
Not sure what to think of Natal. How can you do proper mocap with one camera? Did you see how much the 360 avatar freaked out whenever he made the slightest movement? His arm must have dislocated in about 30 different places.
I'm not inclined to believe anything Peter Molenux says. He has a nice habit of being unable to put his money where his mouth is. I'm not excited for anything he has to say because until I actually sit down and play it, he's full of shit.
L4D2? Yeah, cool, I guess. I would have been fine with some additional campaigns for the first one, you know the TF2 treatment. Actually, on reflection, I'd be much happier if I saw some EP3 stuff, but then again E3 hasn't even started

EDIT: I gotta agree with Mazy below. Alan Wake looks great, but they really just need to release it and work on something else. Also, the Halo stuff... I literally lol'ed. Does not look entertaining at all. Looks like bungie is just taking the piss. The whole video felt like a sunday school picnic where somebody accidentally knocks over the punch and makes everybody sad because there's no more punch and they have to switch to bottled water and then somebody sparks a fight about how useless bottled water is and then they argue the pros and cons of bottled water, but it ends after somebody realizes that Oprah is on and they all go home.

so TF2 gets mad updates all the time, but L4D gets one update and then a sequel?
It's okay though... It's valve. L4D2 won't be out for another 6 years. Just as long as we get L4D DLC in the interim.

Dammit, Valve! No more MP stuff. We get it, you can make several award winning MP games and support them well after their release. Well done. Where's EP3 and Portal 2! You leave us on a nice little cliffhanger at the end of EP2, but then instead saying anything about the continuation, you show reruns of "Terrance and Philip: Not Without My Anus" with an extra scene added every 4 months.
Also, to you Ubisoft Montreal boys and girls... Splinter Cell: Conviction... please... I'm begging you.
