    Yeah that would be the sane thing to do.

    I mean you bought it in August so you still have the guaranty right?

    The sad thing i guess is that they probably want to fix it and ship it away to do so leaving you without any.

    Or you could try to convince them that your work is really really importent so they loan you one in the mean time, couse if they ship it, it could take weeks or even months before you see it again.

    Have you ever concider doing something that looks like norway?

    Like in Bergen or Narvik or sumething.

    I think it would rock with a norwegian semi winter map.

    By semi i mean maybe just a little snow.

    On the top of the mountains and some in the city.

    Edit:I just recalled why i gave such an suggestion.

    I was thinking that you should have no problem at all to get hold of countless of photograph's of old buildings in that period.

    And now for some facts.

    Fishes are cold bloded, which means they dont feel pain.

    What emotions they have when they discover that a shark is after them i don't know.

    The memory span a goldfish have are longer then 3 sec which many ppl think.

    They did an experiment on Mythbusters that proofs this.

    A dog is a mans best friend, one that never fails you.

    Also as has been said, they are often depending on humans, just like a child.

    And last, i know there are cultures where eating dogs are ok.

    But for most of us its not working since we have a good relationship with dogs and consider them friends, even if this is just emotional.

    I wouldn't eat a dog as long as i had food.

    If im about to starve it would be a different story.

    And that dog couldn't be "mine" IE rised by me and my friend.

    To not have emphaty with another being as intelligent as dogs seems a bit cold to me.

    In some culture they ate human brains and hearts, does this make it ok to fish with them?

    I let the game decide aswell.

    But it got ugly as hell.

    I tried some other settings but it got slow and stuff.

    I didnt really liked the game so i don't think i will try to get it as goodlooking and fast as possible.

    Maybe i could try the single player demo if it is out and ill find it.

    the most importent though would be the overall mood in the forum, that ppl are nice to each other without fear to ask and use critism and that they have something in common

    edit:oh i almost forget 2 importent things, edit (couse i type to fast and first after i read it i see typos and stuff that needs to be edited or i forgot to put in the link i just talked a lot about or picture etc etc) and same with the ability to delete your own post if you discover that it was a stupid post or maybe it could offend some one

    i dont use emoticons that much so its nothing that i HAVE to have.

    i dont use message body much either xept Img and URL but i could just as easy put it all in manualy, but its good for ppl that don't know how.

  • LCD Monitor Question

    I think i have one of those barebones (its my friends really but i have used it a lot) and it has never been any problem with it.

    It says its an Orion 1770A and i tried to find out some info about it but it was hard to find any site in english, or rather i didn't.

    But it is a Orion 1770A 17" LCD monitor, Samsung panel with speakers, SXGA 1280x1027, contrast 350:1, 16,7 million colors 16MS.

    I don't know what 16MS stands for.

    The price is in norwegian money but i converted it so it is around 354.104 USD.

    If that includes VAT or not i dont know.

    The dog has probably been dragged after rhe boat with a steal wire.

    Some how it got loose and picked up.

    This has happened on an island called Reunion where it is said they use homeless dogs and maybe cats for sharkbait.

    It belongs to France and is located in (lets see if i can get this right?) Indian Pacific (thats what it is in Swedish anyway, Indiska Oceanen) east of Madagaskar

    The incident is reported to Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

    One man has been arrested for it.

    The french ambassy has promissed gloves off against this barbaric way of fishing.

    When it is cold and dark for so long, especially up north in the winter where you maybe get 5 min of sun in the shortest days, it makes you lack of certain vitamines which make you feel less active, and it can go down from there, nothing says you have to kill your self right at that moment, but one thing will lead to another untill finally you dont want to be around any more.

    As you said there is probably other stuff going on aswell, but if you would have lived in a sunnier country maybe you had bigger chance to get out of it.

    And to top it of, its a stated fact from professors/and medical personal that the cold and darkness up here makes ppl feel more angst (sp?) and depressed.
