Yeah I'm playing with mouse and keyboard. But I feel as if the game is trying to force me to plug my controller in... but I don't wanna ![]()
The PC controls have gotten me into some situations that I wasn't intending to be in on a few occasions now!
Not long now ~~~~~~
I don't know if it was the shit player but that was an underwhelming watch.
Quote from (HP)yet, you buy overpriced parts for your car!
Am I? Says who? ![]()
That's one of the main reasons I've abstained for getting a console since the n64. The price of the games is just ludicrous.
Not all of us work for Blizzard and have the big bucks to spend on these kinda things
:v ![]()
Aye steam PC. I continually hold down the sprint key, otherwise the camera is too close to the player model and I can't see ¬_¬
I was at least expecting them to show the entries, I mean we had to sit around watching some guy trying to double jump around his map. I was waiting to see everyone's great work.
NOPE.
"Maybe we will remember to send a t-shirt to some guy who bothered with this." Was basically what I took away from it.
So I'm 3 hours in. Here are my thought's that no one cares about:
SPOILERRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSS
QuoteThe start was over so quickly I didn't even notice the game had started. I was beating the shit out of my kid, stalking my wife, then I was suddenly grey, then I was hiding behind a table stabbing some orcs, then I was talking to a grey elf dude I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING. Then I'm standing in a tower in Mordor? Wut? Ok then. *Pauses the game for 30 minutes and reads all the game lore*
I jump off the tower and start running around killing everything in sight with no real aim or purpose trying to learn the odd controls. An hour later I start paying attention to the objective icons. I meet Gollum, choke slam him, get my finger bitten, my guy gest really angry about it, then go to bed.
True. Was kinda anti climactic, though.
It's about Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Mark grows a beard, carrie loses some weight.
You fucking SPACK.
Downloading now! This is the first game I've bought for full price on release since forever. 35gb though, my poor 20mb conenction is shedding a tear ![]()
lol mark with a clue. One day maybe ![]()
K, liam sold it to me. Will purchase when pay cheque arrives ![]()
Very tempted to get this. Even though it represents Middle Earth rather poorly (in my opinion) This could be any game really with some orcs. But looks really polished and fun and the PC port is getting congratulated for actually being a good port for once!
Nowhere near finished, ran out of time. Thanks for letting me drop in late, sprony.

Tron meets Quake!
What I've managed to get done by 4am tonight. Fuck it, close enough I guess.

Meh I ran outta time. Or rather, other things got in the way of me finishing my entry.
I bought a car that I'm in the process of modifying up. It's basically a distraction for me from other things that I don't want to focus on. And just to get away and relax. I always feel better after spending time with it. What I've found out about myself recently is I crave structure and stability. Weekends are actually my worst days now, I use them to relax but then I feel as if I've never got anything done. But if I didn't take them to mong out I'd just collapse on my face. The UE4 Challenge has been another nice distraction that I tend to do a bit of in the evenings to feel satisfied with myself.
What I find myself doing at 27:
- Drink with friends on some evenings or on every other weekend to catchup and talk. I don't get wasted like I used to. Just "merry". Happy and chatty, not passed out on the floor.
- Always put at least 25% of my pay cheque into savings. Always try and spend wisely.
- Only keep people in your social circles who benefit you, not put a drain on you.
- Weekdays with work I'm always focused on my tasks but do it in a manner that I won't stress or overwhelm myself with. Took a while to learn this.
- Find things that make you happy and allow you to take your mind off of stuff so you can come back refreshed. For me, as mentioned, is my car, games, books, music, tea, food, just going out for a walk and enjoying the scenery and world around me. Anything!
- Eat well. A good diet does wonders for your mentality and of course; body. Cooking for yourself is an immense benefit and rewarding as well.
