":62bk48l7]Started playing, 3 hours into it and so far... I hate it! Gonna give it a couple more hours of gameplay before uninstall it.

It took steppen about 9 hours to like it, so give it time.

  • Oh god. Here we go with the FOV again.

    Because CONSOLES

Yes! And besides, who's bright idea is it to have 60 FOV on a 16:10 ratio monitor? Moronic to the max. In my opinion the only reasons consoles utilise low FOV is to help them with their framerate. Lower FOV = less on sccreen = marginally better fps

Motion sickness is not a fault of developers.

This is double edged. Low FOV causes motion sickness so in essence it is their fault for not incorporating high settings to prevent this.

Oh thank god you lined them. I couldn't be bothered to click the link to go look.

On initial inspection I'd criticise the light. The top is bright while the bottom is secluded in shadows and rather dark. I'd pitch the light down more to brighten, and liven it up some.

  • Oh god. Here we go with the FOV again.

I just bought Dead Space for 7 quid. 30 minutes into the game and I had to turn it off lest I vomit over my keyboard. The FOV in this is SO harsh, I have never felt so motion sick in my life. I don't think I can bare another sitting, although it didn't seem all that great as I couldn't really concentrate on the game as I can barely see it the camera is so far zoomed in. It's like playing through magnifying glass! What is wrong with developers and console parts. ARARARARARARARARAR. :ssj:

Was exactly the same in the first AvP. Shame all that was on the console, I bet it sucked.

textures's are .dds which you can edit in realtime. If it was done like Unreal I think our coder would die, he's doing so much already. Basically it's pre alpha at the moment so everything obviousl, and suggested will be added over the next several builds.

And you won't be getting steam for a while.

Is there the instant compilation like the Sandbox editor?

Yes. We use polys instead of brushes.
