Unfortunate. I'm having just one removed soon. I get the choice of staying concious or not. I asked to be put out just to see what its like haha.
it's like your dead, you sleep without dreaming - time doesnt exsist! IMO everyone should go through this at least once so they can see what death is really like

Thanks chris!

This was followed by Dave Jones's interview in which he expressed that people had too high expectations of the game and that they were playing wrong, which of course didn't help APB at all.
lmao. You're playing it wrong! Oh man, genius.

Loving it so far
I feel incredibly christmasy at the moment. Its New York, its snowing, its the 40s and Frank Sinatra is singing Christmas stuff on the radio

I'll second the shadows. One thing I'm getting from the screens is a sense of visual clutter in that a lot of the stuff you have doesn't really need to be there and could be accomplished better if you were to reduce it. The "less is more" phrase comes to mind here. The sheds for example have so much going on upon them, it seems far too busy.

It's really good stuff though

Do you get drawn into a game, a game that's so finely crafted that upon completion you find yourself feeling a bit odd? The tangible feeling of disappointment, disappointment that it had to end. I've been getting this emotion a lot with recent games, I guess it goes to show the power that games can have upon you. The last time I felt like this was after watching a marathon Lord of the rings extended edition back to back (big lotr fan). Everytime I watch those films they leave a long lasting impression on me for weeks where it takes me a while to feel my normal self again. Am I making sense here?
The reason I brought this up again is because of a marathon Half-Life 2 session, starting with the first then ploughing through all the episodes back to back. I had forgotten what a good game it was, and its left me feeling as if I've been away from my home for several days and now that I've finished it, my surroundings feel a bit alien and unfamiliar to me. I got that sucked into it and felt as if I was actually there. I got the same with Dragon Age as well actually, I got so absorbed into its story and characters that every time I came away from the computer to resume my regular life I felt as if I had just come away from something totally epic that it was making me feel disjointed in my normal surroundings.
Do any of you experience anything akin to what I'm jabbering on about, or should I go and seek medical attention? And lay off the wacky backy.

I am SICK AND TIRED of being SICK AND TIRED. Gosh darnit!

I think predator jungle music would stick out a bit in a 40's urban crime game

And since predator has come up I now expect d3 to suddenly de-cloak in this topic and mention something about slack jawed faggots.

New voice is better, but that's not saying much. I'd of liked to see David Mitchell, would have been well suited for this.
