The manual that came with the original game was pretty big for an RTS. If you got any questions post em up.

Are you using the mod twiz or just playing with the regular version of the game? pgup and pgdown have always rotated my views with home and end zooming in and out.
And what Vilham said. Just make sure you have levelled up monsters and are dropping the right ones into combat i.e: ranged at a distance and melee up close blah blah. And make sure to overwhelm. Unless you have a level 10 against like level 2's or something then you can just sit back laugh and enjoy the massacre.
And if you get further into the game some of the best monsters to have are Dragons and Vampires. A vampire can't die after level 3 and are totally insane at level 10. Dragons are awesome in a fight as they're tough as old boots and great at researching and also total ballers at 10. If you posses a dragon and go into a fight you do more damage than the Dragon itself as you can attack faster. Imps are no fighters but at level 3+ get their own speed boost abilitity and at level 10 can teleport pretty much anywhere.
Also make sure to explore the levels, there are lots of bonuses like experience and being able to transfer a creature to the next real (but only transfer when you have conquered the realm because if you do it before it will remove your monster).

I didn't say it was bad I said it wasn't as good as the original. It lost a lot of its subtle character in place of the "look at the mistress and her hot ass".

Look at all those chavy fuckers in their hats and joggers. Proper GTA fans.

Damn, this was some fantastic acting from the main cast.

I could use a new one too.
I saw a fancy Germany chair one time that was like £800 and made of kevlar or something that apparently all you fancy people use.

Dungeon Keeper 2 is certainly worth your time, but it's not as good in my opinion.

From a time long, long ago when Pete always delivered - Dungeon Keeper. If you own it you can use this complete re-write of the game to play it happily on Windows 7 and 64bit operating systems with 20 cores of giggityflops or whatever with no issues. It even has a god damn launcher where you can customise the options.
What you need:
- An original version of the game, either the old original CD (that I still own because I'm way better than you guys and a total hipster faggot of gaming) or you can buy it on GoG.com for £3 (http://www.gog.com/game/dungeon_keeper) which I have bought anyway because I'm a massive fanboy and wanted to support it on that website.
Download:
- http://keeper.lubie.org/html/dk_keeperfx_dwnld.php (v0.42 456mb)
What you should know:
- alt+r will cycle the resolutions in game that you have chosen within the launcher - one downside to going super high res is the menu will get smaller.
- If you have the CD you will get the awesome ingame music but I don't know what will happen with the GoG version as I used my old CD files to verify the install of the mod. What it does is you tell it where your original Dungeon Keeper files are installed to it and basically rapes them and then turns into this super mecha keeper.
- Dungeon Keeper 1 is way better than Dungeon Keeper 2.

The second shot is cool but I think you could do better with the lighting in it. Try taking the majority of the spotlights off of the walls and make the pipes in the centre more of the focus.

The one downside to an SSD is its longevity. My first lasted me about a year and a bit which isn't all that bad for the earlier SSD's if you think about it (it was a vertex 2). But the newer ones should live a fair bit longer. The best thing to do still is just use it for windows and all your work programs like photoshop or what have you and install all your other shit like games, movies, music and all that onto a mechanical drive so your SSD has to read/write less and live longer. Yay!
