This made me blow my load. This and Titanfall... man.

Man I just sat playing this straight for over an hour, the rounds are really fast which I like.

So my thoughts:

Pros:

• Very smooth and seamless. The walljumping and transitions are neato.
• Nice and smooth gun combat.
• Good, simple easy to navigate menu. FOV Slider that goes to 90! GOTY
• Good maps! The two I played were really easy to navigate, looked nice and flowed well.
• I like the little burn cards feature that give you little buffs.
• Shooting the baddie AI is actually kinda fun too. They're dumb as bricks but it's satisfying to blow them apart as well as real players.
• Ermahfuckingurd giant robots are cool I'm 12 go away.
• Watching your mech drop into the battlefield is fucking sweet.
• Ripping some poor asshole out of his mech is fucking sweet.
• Getting into your mech is fucking sweet.
• Having a 5 ton giant mech chaingun that sprays tank shells is fucking sweet.

Cons:

• That lock on pistol can sod off
• Surprisingly low FPS for a source title. I'm packing a water cooled 4.2ghz FX8350 16gb ddr3 and a 560gtx... yeah the 560 is letting me down, but I was surprised at how much my FPS tanked in combat. Wasn't expecting that. Must be all the smoke and stuff, as a lot is going on.
• A little bit laggy. I've had several moments where I'm shooting a baddie and he just disappears. Literally, poof, gone. This hasn't happened enough to ruin my enjoyment of the game though, but has occurred a few times where I could of killed them. No biggie though.

Moments that made me squirm with a little girl:

I'm in my mech being a boss, I'm on an 8 kill streak and feeling good! Come across a baddie mech who I start to bust chops with. Stuff is going well but then a second baddie mech turns up around the corner and starts touching my butt without permission. Stuff is going bad, my shields are gone, I'm on fire, sirens and shit is going off all around me, my mech is calling me a terrible pilot and that I should kill myself but I'm like STFU I got this. I get some serious damage into one of the enemy mechs but can't hold off the second. But just before I think it's all over and my 8 kill streak is done, two friendly mechs come fucking storming past me all guns and rockets blazing, shields flaring up and bullets flying everywhere and save my broken, smoking, on fire ass. But to make this moment even cooler, just as the friendly mechs are pushing off the two enemy mechs, a third friendly mech drops in from the sky directly into the fight and then there's a huge explosion from one of the enemy mechs going nova. Fucking. Cool.

I'm usually a moody cynical asshole about most things. So yeah. I'm having fun. A lotta fun. I even forgot about Origin.

I was happy using Firefox for years until a couple of months ago where some websites just didn't work properly for me, the titanfall beta was the last straw and I decided to try Chrome. Not bad so far. My only annoyance is if you want to view an image by itself, Firefox would place it in the center of the screen... Chrome puts it up in the top left corner. Kinda annoying.

Anyway. Gimme this invite, I went to effort to sign up!

Just installed Chrome to sign up to the beta, let me do it in 20 seconds. I was also able to import all my Firefox bookmarks into Chrome within 5 seconds with a single push of a button without any bother or fuss. Hello new default browser.

I've tried 5 times now to sign up for this bloody thing but the website is a piece of shit. Everytime I try to login to my origin account through that site it just does nothing and scrolls me back to the top of the web page.
