Yeah I've checked the wall I want it on with my landlord and he seemed convinced enough it would be fine. It's an old covered up fireplace, so it has stone on the outside with wooden support beams going up the middle to hold the plasterboard. So if I attatched the brackets directly in the stone and wooden supports it should be fine.

Are plasma's ok to mount on the wall safely, seeing as they're quite heavy?

Yo bros. I'm looking to get a pimp TV. Any recommendations? What I'm searching for is a 50 inch Plasma, HD, 1080p and all that jazz. A few have caught my eye buy it doesn't hurt to ask around before buying. And seeing as the majority of you are console dudes I figure some of you might know what's good.
