Woohoo, I can walk home afterwards.

Fucking hell, the Gaylord hotel (not making that name up) was a long fucking ways away from anything.

I'll probably be stationed there for a day, so stop by and meet me if you want and we can commiserate about the smell of human grease and nerdstink that permeates these events. I'll be at the Quakewars booth most likely.

no rly dooods the whole islam cartoon thing has bearing here for rls

There is still no bearing here on what's going on in the US with the failed flag burning ammendment. For whatever reason you're still trying to inject this shit into something completely different. Domestic policy regarding a national symbol != domestic policy regarding a non-state entity's religious symbols.

but he has, and I agree with RD... you said that if someone would like to burn your flag "who cares".

Why doesnt this apply to drawing cartoons? Country? religion? its still basically just a bunch of people having something in common thats beeing stepped on.

Domestic. Policy. I can't make this any simpler.

    More retarded gibberish

You still haven't drawn a correlation at all. You're trying to inject something that has no bearing on the domestic policies of the US. Get out of this thread and cease the trolling.

It correlates  And i just explained how.Why are you in favor for the freedom to burn flags, and against the freedom to draw cartoons?

Because there is a huge canyon of difference between the two. One is a cloth symbol of a nation and the other is an artifact of a particular non-state entity. That's really how simple it is. What you're trying to relate here have no correlation other than each are sometimes burned. The causes, the freedoms to do each and the reprecussions from are completely and totally different.

To put it very very simply: if someone burns a US flag in another country who cares. They're angry at us and let them be. If someone burns a US flag here I really don't care because it generally just means they're dumbasses with an omgrageagainstthemachine~~! attitude and merit little attention. It matters most to one nation though and just to the people within that nation.

However, Islam is an ancient faith that goes beyond national borders and effects many people regardless of nationality, race or heritage. Burning its articles is a bit more personal and offensive than someone torching any flag.

But yes, we get it, you don't like brown people what worship that allah chap, we get it already RD. Trust me.

    A bunch of retarded shit.

The flag burning ammendment means that US citizens cannot burn American flags. How the hell does this have anything to do with the EU and how you tools fucked up with that cartoon and its reprinting? I think you're really stretching here.

I hope it because these days its mostly done by ppl that assault our right to burn their holy book.

How the hell does that even correlate, at all?

    Quote from RD

It will expose the apes that are for freedom to burn an atheist symbol and against the freedom to burn a divine symbol. In other words, ppl that find atheists lesser humans.Ofcourse it would be better if it was all free to do But its not and as long as its not, you accept your inferiority.

What...the fuck? This doesn't even make cognitive sense. RD, have you taken your meds?

Will become illegal I hope at least.

    Why do you hope so?

I pledge allegiance to this nation, not a stupid piece of cloth made in some backwater ex-communist east-asian country. The flag is a symbol, but it is not our strength and burning it is no greater a threat to the United States than any of the dumb chest-pounding attempts at nationalism the right is currently using to drum up support in the upcomings.

To make things better I show you a potential airstrike bomber model that you can call in via the dispenser unit Enjoy this for now! I'll see about getting the build up onto a download space later on.

Hmm.. What is the maxium polycount when modeling a gun to Q2?

I don't know off hand. However, I do know that we did remove some of the caps on texture sizes and such. I still think polycounts should be kept low-ish.

Were you thinking of making something?

My friend Tom (coder for Wasteland HL, Dead Cities, etc) is doing the coding work right now. Although I'd like to see about getting more people on the project to speed it up.

ooh, Seksay Oh ya, can the commandante deploy turrets as well, and does he even get to use the dispenser himself?

    Yes and yes.

The only difference between a commandante and a regular soldier is that he's the only one that can drop a dispenser unit. Once it is deployed he can use it to upgrade his main gun just the same as anyone else (but he can also pick up the dispenser and drop it off elsewhere). He can drop his main gun as a turret as well.

I didn't like the turrets I did earlier so I revamped them to be like this. Oooo, they transform!

    [Blocked Image: http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/8665/irturretclosed1ld.jpg]

Turret all closed up! The dispenser closes up the same way and can be carried on the backs of the player models.

Certainly, Minos. Do you have a sample of your wares? I can't remember if I've seen them recently.
