Honestly I think it's got too many areas at the moment. Port was a big enough map as it was but you've added more areas..

What are you doing exactly? You could have addressed the above in a single reply
Quote from AkatsukiUKI cry a little inside thinking about optimising this map. St.Mary map also had this same issue with framerate. Not sure if they solved it since then but worth checking the level out/asking in this thread:
Have you converted much of your brush work to func_details?, no draw textures etc on hidden faces besides area portals and skip/hint brushes.
unremarkable player helped out Untor with optimizing St Mary. There was a lot of room for improvement and he did a great job at it.

When I run it through a compile checker, this is what I get:

Not running vbsp may cause various errors, make sure you run all compile tools if you are stuck on an unnamed error.Note: It appears vvis was not included in this compile log.

material not found!: 0010_snowDescription:
The error is self-explanatory. Somewhere in your map you have referenced a texture that doesn't exist. Perhaps you used a texture from another modification or game you haven't correctly set your current game up for?Solution:
Make sure you have your mod paths set up correctly and that you are including all mod contents you need. The affected object may not work/appear properly

You have a leak. A leak is a hole in your map that exposes any entity in your map to the void (the black space outside your map).Solution:

Did you run vbsp?

Windows doesn't support it as standard, but there are a few tools you can use to make it work, and the bonus is the working trackpad as well as wireless support (which I think I'm right in saying microsoft still don't support for their own controllers?).
They do, but you need to buy a X360 receiver to plug in.

Can you post the compile log (if you got one)?

I think I'm due a Half-Life fix soon. If this is about them releasing the full game (mod?) on Steam with Xen then it's a perfect time to take a bit of money from my wallet xD
I read somewhere (don't remember where though) they're still working on Xen, but apparantly they might be releasing the MP part.

Definately also the one that AkatsukiUK posted.
Furthermore, do check out official maps (also the little less known maps like militia) to see how it's done. Don't be afraid to decompile maps (also custom ones) to check how lights entities are set up.

It's not about the map's description at all. You're asking for others to help, so the least you could do is post some pictures here. That's all
Quote from AkatsukiUKA description is just as powerful as screenshots in my book
.I meant the workshop description, my bad if that wasn't clear
But a short description on the theme of the level would indeed be helpful (location, type of place, etc). That being said, judging from the pictures it seems to be an office building. What kind of office building are you making? Modern? Oldfashioned (70's or so)? Any specifics of what Vorontsoff Industries produce/provide?

Cool stuff and sexy model

Are you aware you can see through the model just above the pistol's hammer?

What TheGuma and Smileytopin said: no pics = no clicks.
In this case, I suggest you take some pictures ingame of the area you want feedback on and post them here. Not a lot of people (if any) are gonna bother with subscribing to it on the workshop to go check out the issues ingame.
