interesting designs and depth on the buildings... looking pretty cool.
i don't want to join the "pick out every little problem even though it's a WIP" crowd.. but uh.. maybe some protruding trim along the first and second storiy on that left building would create even more depth, as well as hide the seam (which may or may not go away, you never know with unreal)

nice, the thread is about trackmania again, and not about starforce!

nice looking map!

badmofo's up_regime comes to mind in a lot of those shots.
get down soldier! incoming fist! uhh looks cool though.
oh, and i'm on the same page with frie about the bullet impacts on shot 2.. wierd D:

mods have the luxury of being able to release at any time, and saying "oops" and patching it up, or adding more content later. with most retail games, this is generally not possible (unless if you are a game like CS:S). i think mods may want to try to take advantage of this to some degree, of course with finding the blend of polish and a quick release to test the waters.
having worked on RO, i cannot even comment on the article, because it makes me gib.

nice stuff,
for not using a flash at the show. -
pretty neat, but you should really learn to not punish the player all the time for things he didn't do (ie; all the times in your episode you open a door and BAM a headcrab is in your face). and i can't say i dug re-living the whole intro thing again. btw, i am stuck in the room with the english RPG chap.

first shot, top left. second shot, top left.
i would say smoothing groups are mainly the problem here also. you may just have to remove them (smoothing groups) on some of the flat surfaces.

shoot, i do have a wireless router already that i never set up because our modem is wireless... may have to explore that option.

contacting service places will help you up until the point where "network" is mentioned, then they say "uhh.. i can no longer help you"

i'll just keep this short. does anyone know how to create a setup like this?

more specifically, how do I just share the connection of the computer with the 360? the pc connecting to the 360 is the "media pc" (just a standard pc for movies and stuff), and has a wireless network card, and a ethernet card. i have shared the ethernet connection on the media pc / 360 connection, but then neither connection works. in order to bridge the wireless and LAN connections on that pc, neither of them can be sharing a connection, which is what seems like i have to do... erk.
i could just run a ethernet cable from my 360 directly to my modem, but meh, that's a cable going across the floor that i don't want. but at this rate, that's may what it have to come to.

don't know if it's possible, or why you would want to do that.
you will likely need a lot more buttons to be pressing than a controller will offer.

lol @ gin
personally i hate ads and try to avoid them wherever possible. this is a main reason why i don't watch tv, and why i have every ad known to man blocked on websites. while gin's pic is funny here, it may become the sad future, but let's hope not.

holy shit, that owns.
