I think the Crysis heads look really damn good. I hadn't even seen most of those, but it looks like there's a lot more than I thought, and they all look pretty unique. It's hard to judge the facial animation when locked in horrible first person cinematics

Bye HD-DVD, Paramount has made the jump:
New Line Cinema has also made the leap in the last few days:

Got a new system now to not start a new game if others are still underway. As you can see by the many games now.. I'm failing at this.

lmao, i got one of those for my cousin for xmas a few years back. they are hilarious if you throw them while it's making the noise.

Due to consumer confusion in the hi-def DVD format wars, Warner has thrown down the hammer and sided with Blu-Ray, going exclusive starting July this year. With CES going on this weekend, a HD-DVD press conference has been cancelled as result of Warner's announcement.
Good news for PS3/Blu-Ray owners, I was just talking about this the other day when looking at movies in a store.

Lots of cool levels and models, but any code, gameplay, or scripting?

"wow, i got fuckin' rocked"
the trivia stuff was pretty great.

Some kind of a freak drove all the way across the country. Think I've heard of similar stories before using Live, but never this extreme. Way to go, Halo fanbase!

Looks like a beautiful place to live, especially to go for a walk! Nice stuff, some crazy crystal formations on that barb wire

-
agh, no more gray and brown

I had a sweet desktop, and then WMP told me it needed an update, so I says OK, mang. Then when I reboot it reverts all my desktop shit to the default blue and removes all the custom colors I had on my start menu

Thought it's just a jungle, it does look really nice. Good work there. Cool terrain tool, I'd love to check it out, but I'm sure I'd never get around to it D:

Ohh fun thread? Lots of stuff to spice up my apartment, like.. ahem. a spice rack, a big rug, some pictar frames, nice tea maker, rice cooker, a candle, a book on Seattle... and some other odds and ends like Die Hard 4 on Blu-Ray, and an Ikea gift card. Got myself the latest Dexter novel, and trying to catch up on some now dirt cheap PS2 games I never played like GoW 1 & 2, Beyond Good & Evil, and Mercenaries.
:megamon:
Had ourselves treated to a bit of snowfall around noon, enough to throw a few snowballs to my dog, then it all got rained away. :megaman:

This looks pretty awesome. Makes me want to play some Contra 4.
I will have to download for some later playing. These kind of games need to be on the DS. -
I find it hilarious that the same game everyone would be laughing at prior to this announcement with a comment like, "lol this game's never coming out" suddenly turns around and are so defensive about it. Even more so that many of you seem to be going entirely off faith in the gameplay, which was not even shown. Guess there's hope for this game after all, even if it is sick and twisted.

Don't get me wrong, the trailer has me excited just because Duke has come into light again, but my pants aren't exactly tightening...

what engine is it using? Not bashing at all, just curious. thx : oatmela
Quote"Unreal. I believe we branched off somewhere around the Unreal 2 time when they added static meshes. Since then we've redone the rendering 100% and it's a fully modern engine."
There's some recent proof, as of this evening.

So, it's out, and all the web sites hosting the video are getting hammered (Shacknews, Kotaku, etc) so commenting there is out of the question. Looks like Duke can still bring the old school crowds in, but I wonder if any of the newer crowd of gamers (Halo and the like) will know who he is, or will they be interested?
Anywho, for being a teaser it was pretty damn underwhelming. These are the things one would expect after no public appearances for six years. The screen caps show some pretty embarrassing stuff. Still no signs of gameplay.

Either you're all finally posting where you work at, or everyone just got freakin' hired up. Either way, congrats to the latest folks who posted.

Also, does Nexus ever make sense?
