Rollercoaster Tycoon ...
Much like the third game just without childish art style and aweful changes to the UI.
Looks real great! I think it fits CS:S very well indeed in terms of lighting, details and all that jazz.
I'd start with Industrial Scifi

Germans dub everything! you should hear Sean Connery!!!
15 words for snow? Sound about time they stopped that non sense and speak english! ![]()
Ofcourse people now are going to disagree, but it's happening even if they don't like the idea of it. Every generation brings new views no matter how crazy they might seem at this point in time.
On the other hand english has thousands of examples for spanking the monkey ![]()
Slightly off topic here - but I hope within 100 years everyone is speaking a single common languge. In the past it's clear why it evolved the way it did, but now (at least in the western world) it just causes confusion in a digital age. I think English has proved itself as the easiest to grasp. Even religion can't complain, getting the message accross to everyone without learning 30 languages must be a benifit ![]()
English is the common language these days, Americans would have no problem moving to a well respected studio in most countries. I'd be very surprised if you could not get a job speaking fluent english. Game development teams are too international these days to speak anything BUT english as a common language.
On the other hand, Americans don't speak english ![]()
Yeah but honesty is a thing of the past.
Most developers make that process quite easy on the Individual, that being said you have to be good enough for all the effort. I know moving about in the EU is easy, not sure how it is for Americans wanting to work in EU. Judging from the amount we have here at Crytek, it can't be all that painful ![]()
Wait a second... why don't Americans look for work overseas where the situation is not so bad? Ok sure not everyone can do such a major change in their lifestyle but I find it hard to accept that all 12% are out of work. Not when so many develoeprs are hiring still.
Games, Movies and TV industry are familiar with moving aboard to work on projects, it's common practice.
I don't like the very idea and giant waste of money that the EU is, however, some parts I kind of agree with. This can't be good news if it passes for the PC gaming industry
Perhaps it's a good wakeup call.
