well at least its not bullshot faked shizzle, most games are pretty boring min to min if viewed in such a manner.
can you imagine 5 mins of skyrim footage, walking through the forests and picking flowers, doesn't mean the game will suck.

happy birthday dewd!!
haha Indiana Brones ;P love this game
yup, slowing time is one thing, pausing it and moving around is just cool D: always a huge fan of time manipulation in games
well really it depends on what your doing, if your simply learning map construction, then both are fine.
If you want to make an entire indy game, then U4 is the best idea.
it's awesome, 2d is the new 3d, my internet name has never been so valid ![]()
are they building your house or something? ![]()
looks good man, don't be afraid to use creative license, change up scales, metrics, close off areas in the name of making a better "map". I expect the accuracy of reproduction is not or should not be the criteria for how a level designer is judged. Nevertheless, this is a cool idea, one of the early maps I made was a recreation of a fire station I used to be at all the time, for CS no less ![]()
Lightroom is my first call, It just makes the entire process much faster, simply work your way down the right develop toolbar until your at the bottom
I've only used photoshop once in 2 years for a photo, because I wanted to remove something (a tree) but I try hard not to falsify an image if I can. For portraits, photoshop is priceless if skin tones and correction are your thing, although lightroom is quite ok doing that from what I hear but not to commercial levels.
As a general rule of thumb, doing anything optically will be better than in post, don't be that guy who thinks he can "fix it in post" it's not even about the end result, it's about the thought process, and how much better you get when you combine knowledge of your gear with your imagination.
ND filters are pretty essential, for landscape, portraits and movie shooting, but this is more advanced photography. Defo worth learning about, you can get tons of nice cheaper options for getting into it. http://www.leefilters.com/index.php/came…ads#nd-videobox
good site, I think about half of what I know actually comes from Digital Rev, awesome channel https://www.youtube.com/user/DigitalRevCom
most importantly, they make it fun ![]()
I think dragon age 1 is my fav sp game ever? prob even more than mass erect ![]()
I really hope this has more of the first vibe, certainly the art looks good.
I think the point is, the game would not have been made previously? this is a nice idea to try
this is good news indeed, exciting!
and an update this time with some level test, now the storm blends in clouds, color grading/mood change and some ambient sound
did some ambient tests today, rain clouds form and then it rains, blends in real time ... always liked it in everquest 2 when that happened hehe
I think if you treat is as a niche - meaning don't invest insane AAA money into it, yes it could work. If any game can bring it back UT can, at least people will be willing to give it a chance. If you don't spend money on too much story shizzle, cinematic, facial rigs and all that stuff UT can be quite cheap to make relatively speaking, it's all about how much fluff you add, costs can go insane.
would love something like original UT, less focus on having a story and have it being believable, just go balls out with awesome locations, weapons and keep the visual style a bit cleaner.
ahahaah wot a boss
