Guess I got a million trojans and viruses now thanks to the shady not-so-steampowered.com link!

I sorta don't want there to be any more content. Sure, there are a lot of possibilities, but I can't imagine it will add much to the game. Is DLC confirmed?

Doesn't say when though. Also noticed the screenshots on the Steam Store are from the old Bioshock Infinite art and HUD. Misleading product!

Plus I streamed the whole game in one playthrough, and it is recorded .. if you got 7 hours or so to spare : http://www.twitch.tv/zyndustries/b/382697404
However I was already some hours into the game, but I decided to restart for the viewers.

While being a fantastic game, some things is going to need some explaining, maybe in the coming DLCs?
For example, the Songbird is still a mystery on how it came to be, what's under the hood, why is water so bad for it (other than fragile "eyes" that crack from the slightest water pressure), and where did the vigors come from? And why is the energy called salts?
In Bioshock 1, we get told that scientists were allowed to play god and thus created the plasmids, plus getting the first plasmid was dramatic compared to how Booker reacts to getting the Possession vigor. I expected him to flip out over suddenly obtaining a supernatural ability, but he just acts like "Ok that's nice I guess". In Infinite, the vigors seem be just there for powers sake, since I sure don't remember anything that implies or tells scientists were creating superpower sodas that is the vigors.
I was looking for the source of the vigors in my playthrough, like you were going to find some sort of lab, but it never happened. Perhaps another thing brought into the world using tears?

17 minute long gameplay video of singleplayer.
DICE, could you ... tone down a bit on the Battlefield themesong? Ok, I finished this tonight. Started over even (was some hours in already) just for streaming from start to finish, which I did. It's a great game, and god damn pretty in many places. The intro gives me goosebumps. Not trying to spoil anything, but the last 30 minutes of the game ... I just sat there going "wha ... isn't ... how ... did this ... it's ... WHAT?" at what was going on. And the game has some pretty eyebrow-raising moments throughout it too, not just packed towards the end. Play it, and you shall see too. And lets see what the DLC's from the Season Pass will do to flesh out the story and events.
This game is a strong contender for Game Of The Year.

Still no love for MGS? MGS2 in particular has the best intro in the history of video games, Hands DOWN!! imho anyway!

That's a funny way to spell MGS3 Snake Eater and its very "James Bond" like intro:

And the rabbit hole goes deeper.
In this thread Joakim Mogren posted "Thank you for your interest in the Phantom Pain. The development process has been long and...strange...but we hope it lives up to expectations. Please look forward to GDC". Now if you check his profile, you see a strange user video : http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/e6yx6n/…hantom-pain-mme
At 40 seconds in, for like a frame, you see this:

Meanwhile in the Ground Zeroes trailer:

This is some deep shit. Futhermore, the video title itself posted by Joakim Mogren starts with "TF-XXI", which is apparently a reference to this : http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Miscellan…roups#Force_XXI . The title also contains "TEWT" which means "Tactical Exercise Without Troops" : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_exercise
Now back to the Ground Zeroes trailer:

Is "The Phantom Pain" about the first VR trained child soldier? Chico?!

Sounds just like the UK???
I'm seriously thinking of getting SimCity 4 with Rush Hour and waiting until the next sequel of this. It seems like they have a good foundation for a few generation of SimCity but there are far too many problems for it to be considered ready. All these simulation issues are... crazy.
Go ahead : http://store.steampowered.com/app/24780/

Also get the NAM (Network Addon Mod) plugin for SC4, it's essential : http://www.wiki.sc4devotion.com/index.php?title=NAM

Scratch that about me thinking the end was nowhere in sight. About an hour more of play and I finished it, so it totals about 8 hours of story with the occassional exploring for tombs and collectables for salvage. The percentage on the savefile takes all that into account as well, so don't believe what it says! But still pretty good.
Quote from Rick_Dshitty design. reeks of producer "this isn't hard enough" logic. fuck you. i have weapons, let me use them. jesus christ fucking pisses me off no end. why are we still doing this shit.
I agree. Fuck the QTE's. Oh look here's a wolf and I have to press buttons within a very small timeframe, instead of pulling my gun and fill it with lead. Thankfully the QTE's are far and few in between after that. The only QTE's that makes sense is the dodge moves you can unlock to cripple enemies if they attack you in melee range. Plus in the end of the game...
QuoteLara has a clear sight at the bad guy Mathias, tries to shoot him with a bow, but the area has a strong wind like in other temple places and it flies away if fired. Ok makes senses, but you never get the opportunity to just pull your gun and shoot his brains out from a distance! Instead you gotta go around the area, shoot baddies, fight a boss that is easy as shit, and then kill Mathias ... in a QTE struggle. What?

The citysizes won't increase until the powerhouses we have today (highperfomance gaming rigs) are mainstream, i.e. even your dad has one ( source ) ... which is a stupid decision. Why not just let people decide for themselves what size they want for their city? Someone with an average rig could pick something small, while another with a gaming computer that can run onehundred instances of Crysis and Dwarf Fortress at once can pick a gigantic city size. And when they allow larger cities, it will without a shadow of a doubt be paid DLC. Plus reviewers are pointing out that the game has seemingly intentional limitations, a telltale for future paid DLCs.

Phew! This game was released today, and I have been playing this for 7 hours straight, still no sign of an end, and the savefile says I am only 63% done. Mother of god, this game is long ... which is rare today! On top of the story, the game has so many collectables it's insane, a steady pace of upgrades with new tools, weapons and abilities, and Lara takes so much pounding (no pun intended) you wonder how not every bone in her body isn't broken. This game is supposed to be a reboot/prequel of the Tomb Raider series, and it does it well!

Just saw 'Wolf Children', the latest movie by the 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' director Mamoru Hosoda. Says it all. Watch it.
