Puzzled that it wasn't brought up before, to be honest.
Still, it was a nice musical interlude. If only Mike was animated.

On-topic, people who doubt Manke's ability to make stunning levels can sling their hook, but the lack of custom content is worrying.
I mean, subverting the default content made They Hunger fun, but that was because it was free. Slapping a few reskins in and then charging for the spectacle isn't particularly appealing.
How about some pics of the dock, Bic, you styler and profiler.
Well alright, sugar. I'll give your version a go first.
But if it still has those cack camera controls...

27 right on my first try. Not half bad.
Nice brushwork, but as said, there's no lighting to speak of.
So it looks Goddamn ugly.
Quote from st0lveWhy does every medicore (what does that mean anyway?) mod post about that they have talked to Valve? Valve have talked to like 70% of all the Source mods, its not that special anymore. And they haven't even started the mod (Source version) as far as I read. And no, I haven't played They Hunger, USS whatever or Underworld Bloodlines.
If you had you wouldn't be calling it mediocre. Which means average, by the way.
This is an ANCIENT quote though. You've positively exhumed it. So don't expect TH:S anytime soon.
HIT ME WITH THOSE EXOTIC BOTANICALS, STEVEN.
USS Darkstar.
They Hunger was utterly fantastic, but I cried with joy at seeing what Neil Manke could create with the standard HL texture set - something as far away from Black Mesa as possible, yet emminently convincing.
Very nice, but another vote for no interior - the windows are so small that no-one will mind an opaque glass-ish thing, even if it behaves like metal thanks to Source model limitations.
