haha I love the Mac vs PC shit

my 2 cents:
You can do all you like on the Mac, since it is a PC. The only difference is that it looks good and costs more.
Now if you want to talk about different OS's, then you want to discuss MAC OS vs WINDOWS.

Starcraft II will probably be a e-sport game for many people just like it's prequel. This pretty much leaves out people charging money for maps designed for competitive play, no matter how well designed or polished they are. Because I doubt any league or tournament will force their player community with a map pool where they have to pay for half of the maps.
yeah, makes sense. I think the priced maps is especially for the "mods" that take a while to create (and requiring a large team).
It would be nice to make a single player campaign on my own and spend a while on it and be able to charge like 5$ for it.

link or it didnt happen!

I am just wondering wacko, is sc2 still using a tile system like its predecessor, or will we be forced to flesh out the landscape in a heightmap editor?

Yeah I love how that dude in the star wars costume was holding the lightsaber all weird (it would cut his hand if it were real etc).

+ Spotify dont got metallica. I've even payed for spotify, but im using this now

I dont really see how this can suck in any way.
All it does is It makes it easier for people to distribute their work (for free or for a few bucks). If you are so afraid that the marketplace will get cluttered, then why use it? It's not like you pay extra for the marketplace, its just a new feature.

you should think about removing the third image (the yellow), since the lighting is really bad.

Look at Peri's, Philk, pomperi, instas or any of the grin guys folios for an idea of what I'm talking about. They do it well as they all use the same idea.
Not to derail the thread, but I'm also getting a little fed up with the same standard portfolio site that all the grin'ers have started using.

You also need to remember that even though a killer-awesome studio is interested in you (which they probably will be with that portfolio) it usually means they want to exploit you a little too, which they cant with a seasoned pro.
edit;
What I mean by that, which probably isnt so clear, is that you are just as likely to get a job as a seasoned pro because you come with an extra benefit. (ex. the eagerness to do overtime with no pay).
