Do you have any idea when this is happening, because all the people i know are getting really frustrated about this issue now...

After playing some more when I have the time then I gotta say that this is the most buggy Blizzard beta I've ever played (I've played all the WoW beta from early on). No bugs that I've encountered in WoW has broken the game for me, but the new Battle.net in particular is doing just that. I currently cant team up with anyone, and my friends list are only visible 1/20th of the times I log in (thats also the times I can play with my friends). But when I do play with a friend we "start over" with the 5 pre-matches where you are not ranked and you meet only nubs.

I get to do a lot of weird strats, but its not really that fun anymore without any challenge

I'm not gonna buy itunes for any song, no.

You are forgetting that both halo and gow had coop campaign (which automatically makes a play-through way more fun). Its a whole different beast.

Open source, and all the benefits from that.

Lots of phone running the same software, so eventually more people will use it (the os; android), which in turn will make more stuff available to it since more and more people will develop software for it.

Google market (free healthy competition, no screening).

Automatic updates.

Faster hardware. (on most phones).

Better camera (on some phones).

Everyone in the firm I work used to have an iPhone, a couple of months ago one dude bought HTC Hero and slowly but steadily everyone here has one now (except me, because I got a new phone JUST BEFORE htc released this stuff). And they all think that the HTC Hero is a great improvement over the iPhone, simply because it can do everything an iPhone can do and more. AND it has the potential to do a lot more.

Well, familiarity with Unity is a must also

Why not doodle and make something yourself in Unity and try to earn a few bucks off of an iPhone game or something? 2 months seems like an appropriate time to put 1 game together.

Ive had a lot of fun with gears coop

I think movies are great this way. Most movies last 1,5 hours. Its something you can enjoy with friends without the movie itself taking multiple sittings.

Its cool with a longer game from time to time, its like doing a lord of the rings marathon with your friends, but most of the time you just want 1 evenings' worth of entertainment.

Because short campaigns are cooler in many ways.

1. It takes less time to develop, so you get more games more quickly

2. It takes less time to play through, so an investment in a game doesn't chain you to your sofa for 30 hours in order "to get your moneys worth."

On the other hand the games should be cheaper tho
