btw, make sure you have the lastest version (1.15).
Quote from ErraticYeah, noticed that as well. Looks like you can select around 36 units possibly.
I read somewhere that you could select as many as you wanted.
Oh and, sentura, don't try to make me look childish, or a retard w/e, just because I pointed out the stupidity of your remark. Btw, the obvious reason (which you again failed to see) for buying a sequal is to play the new campaign. Check out what happens with jim raynor and kerrigan... But my guess is that these names don't ring a bell for you.
Quote from Senturahey yeah! lets go buy the same game with new graphics. it'll be so worth it
honestly, it doesnt look like it's changed one bit from the gameplay trailers and screenshots
haha, you must've be in a seriously bad mood when you wrote this and you just wanted to bash something, because this really doesn't make any sense. EVERY SEQUAL IN THE HISTORY OF GAMES AND MOVIES LOOKS LIKE THE ONE BEFORE IT. The point of a sequal is to add new shit to the old. I'll agree to that I was expecting a 4th race, but when thinking about it, starcraft doesn't need it. It would be too hard to balance properly.
And to those of you that whine about it not looking like crysis in terms of graphics. You really can't have studied Blizzard and their games pretty well. What Blizzard always have done is to take gurrent gen (NOT NEXT), and make it looks really awesome. This means that almost all current computers can run their game, and makes their game more popular. Releases like the new shooters where bad artists have to hide behind super-duper new shaders and high res stuff to make the game look cool brings the playerbase down. (sadly, this is a little true for crysis too, even though their artists are really good).
My point is, if you bash Blizzard for not making it look next-gen-super, you are just the kind of idiot that should gtfo of the games industry because its gameplay that draws players in the end. NOT GFX!
edit; if this doesnt get you in the mood you have no taste ![]()
I think i remember reading somewhere that they are thinking about making an MMO, but it won't be anything even close to WoW (so worlf of starcraft/diablo) is out of the question. I think it was something more real-life like. Would be very blizzard to take the best from every "RL simulator" game out there and make the perfect MMO about it.
So what i think is that they will either announce this MMO project, or the starcraft 2 / diablo 3.
Personally I think it's starcraft 2, since its the best game in the universe and the rts genre needs a new starcraft ![]()
I'd love the tilde one WITH "MAPCORE" written underneath or on the back, whatever as long as it sais mapcore.
Oh and the HURG one is awesome, but would be cooler in dark red with black or white Hurg ;>
too bad finnish is impossible to understand for normal human beeings ![]()
I had the same problem Spellbinder had, so I switched to firefox... havent looked back since.
This is most likely your gfx settings, but I thought that was hl1 at first ![]()
I think its weird nobody has mentioned the awesome megaman music (specifically hardman).
Quote from FrieChampNot sure if you should see it for the history aspect Spelly, it is more based on the comic series..
Quote from IMDB# ccording to an interview with IGN.com, Director Zack Snyder says that fighting styles and formations (particularly the Spartan's phalanx) were purposefully changed - making them historically inaccurate - so they'd "look cool" and work better for movie purposes.# The movie never claims to be historically correct. It is based somewhat loosely on Frank Miller's 1998 comic book mini-series. Changes from history were made by Miller and Snyder so as to appeal to a wider audience and create a more exciting and visually stunning action movie, rather than a typical historical epic.
I'm soo looking forward to it.
anyone have any idea what this engine would cost to license?
well said, who's to say they wont change a thing or two? Maybe implement jumping...
if its done correctly, I think it can kick some serious ass, single and multiplayer-wise ![]()
my roomate has a decent book called "Windows Games Programming" ![]()
looks awesome ![]()
