VERY nice normal map you got there... You are really good at skinning... The chest could loose a few polies though, and still keep the same shape.

I think it looks okay, except its a giant leap of faith having a huge hole in the wall, but electricity (and all the lamps) still work...

    Great start tho

Dude i wouldnt make such a comment in his direction if he wasnt such a known prick. Then again why is it hilarious? Who else knows better what it takes to release a mod of this size? We've gone trough a rollercoaster ride the last 3 years and we are the only bigger mod for hl2 that managed to release yet (with the exception of Dystopia maybe which also has a shitload of own content and code). You sound just as arrogant as garry because you have no idea what it takes.

Now who's looking like the big prick! PVK2, a TC (if you didnt know), beat INS by half a year!! And we're releasing beta 2 very soon, adding three new classes with new weapons + lots of gameplay balancing. new combat system that registers hit where the sword is at, not where your crosshair is at + finally taking use of the directional attack by introducing directional blocking.

I dunno if GRAW1 has co-op storymode but GRAW2 has and I really want to play it with some friends, because I can see it being very fun with team mates that actually have a thought process that includes the term "don't get shot".

GRAW1 has coop play, but it really sucks that the host cant die without the mission resetting, and most of the missions have looooooooong intro sequences (flying chopper etc). It gets really frustrating after a while. (you might be pro at playing, but most of your friends probably arent.. so )

There are simply more advantages to releasing often.. the biggest one is, as most of you have mentioned that you can make lots of small tweaks along the way and make the game better and better all the time. The second biggest is probably the whole PR thing, you are always in the news' and people will mention your mod more often (new version is out!! orly?).

so graw/2 = ok but not great?

I haven't played it that much (just tried the mp beta), but if you got a really decent computer, I dont see why you shouldn't buy this one

The only beef I got with this game is the limits of the game.. I can barely run GRAW1 (and so can my friends), and now GRAW2 is coming out, and it runs even worse.. whats up with that

GRAW1 should run smooth as ice, while GRAW2 should be the one that goes "ok" for me.. :/ will sell 2x boxes if you dont make a game that demands new pc

[...] but we honestly don't have the time to make a gameplay vid just to quash a few rumours that don't really have any bearing on our progress.

You are forgetting that having a gameplay vid will atract developers -> speed up progress..

Managed to get into a server and stay in for more than 30s tonight, played a whole map, which one I have no idea.My review:

Visuals good, gameplay rubbish. Its too realistic to be enjoyable. My definition of enjoyable? Not being killed by someone you saw onscreen, at distance for about 1ms.

Spawn killings seemed far too common for my liking. Lots of players gliding around the maps.

    5/10

Could be worse, could be better.

This seems to be the public opinion at first... but then they play it just a little more
