This is something I would probably ask the coder of the mod to make easy for me ![]()

There is no such thing as good copy protection.
And yet the fact remains that theres no scene release out.

I just watched Bioshock behind the scenes where they talked a lot about the different iterations of the game and just random bullshit they went through during development, its worth seeing if you are really into the game. There were a couple of things that bothered me tho. One was when the producer (a girl) started talking about the game, and I felt like I wanted to kill her, but I don't really know why, might be because she seemed to be so stupid.. What is a producer anyways? The other thing was at the end when their sound people(a girl) started talking about, duh, their sound and like she said like the word like, like in like in between like every like other like word.

Although on the surface HIPR looks similar to INS, the gameplay is quite different. Where INS is infantry, HIPR is more spec ops. If you play Hostile Intent on the HL1 engine, you see the difference between the two.
I have played HI on the HL1 engine, and as far as I can tell the difference is the walking speed and player models. And some of the weapons. The whole sneaking around careful not getting shot-action is dominant in both games. HIPR might just be a tad slower, I'd agree, but the true core of the two games seems to be too similar.
You either forgot to mention player models for both teams, or you left that out on purpose.. It's what I personally think is the biggest job for the modelers and animators to do, how far are you in that regard?

The screenshots look very nice, but as far as gameplay this mod must be very similar to Insurgency, correct? What do this mod offer in comparison to the insurgency mod?
Oh and how far along in the alpha process are you guys? Got a playable build yet, and what does it feature at this point?

They were a little expensive when I bought them, but its the far best piece of headphones I have had to date. St0lves problem is non-existent with these phones because the cord is unplug gable at the headset end also. The Sound is beyond anything I have heard and they have held true for 3 years now. (Actually I think I bought them summer 2004 and they are still in tip top shape. They came in a really super box which I've also kept all these years (I seldom keep these things). When lacking proper speakers for the PC I'm working on I can just boost up the sound and they can play as loud as very small speakers so people can hear. And they don't get ruined from it.
My last two speakers were the cheap but really great sounding KOSS UR-40 and UR-20. If you are just after a pair of great cheap headsets (that also muffles exterior noises, great at lan parties), then I suggest some of the newer KOSS headphones...

It seems the copy protection on this game is super, theres no scene release yet which is kind of weird.
I just cant afford 55$ on a game

the shape and texture seems to be very good, kind of hard to see with the yellow lighting... But why does it have a black outline?

Gah, the Limited Edition has been postponed until Friday next week, so I tried to find a store that would sell the Collectors Edition today. I think this is the first time I have failed to find someone that would sell a game before the official date, I felt so humiliated when I had to preorder it even though he had the game in his fucking hand. Even my usually impenetrable mind tricks with mentioning that I work at IO had no effect D:EB pricks :G
Oh well, at least I'll have it for the weekend...
LOL

hessi, they are from de_corse..

KOSS is the way to go...
Personally I own a pair of philips headphones right now which i paid over 1300 NOK for. They sound great, and have lasted almost 3 years now, but I remember KOSS beeing teh shit when it comes to reasonably priced shit..

You should probably make most parts of that model in brushes instead, shadows will look weird on it

OK. Solved the Vista 64bit problem. You need the VS2005 SP1 Runtimes installed for it to run. You should install them first, before installing the shell extensions but if you've installed them already, try a reboot after you install the runtimes.
When trying to install the 64bit version there, i just get "gathering information", then it disappears.. Guess the problem is mostly on my end
Anyways, i saw that it statedQuoteSupported Operating Systems: Windows 2000; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP
Anyways, in your PM to me you stated that the new version would have something embedded, but there was no extra installer poping up
