Unfortunately that is the payment method they offer for this donation dealio. Which method would you have preferred?

just a IBAN & BIC account number and I can transfer money directly. I'd rather not have to deal with paypal as they can freeze the money at any moments notice.

I dont think anything can compare to a mouse and keyboard when it comes to reaction time and being precise.

But I think a controller is more comfortable for couch gaming, so its nice to have someone innovate around the fact that using a controller on any god/rts games is just clunky. Them using civ5 as an example in their screenshot makes me hopeful

This is exactly what I was expecting, but I'm still underwhelmed.

I am interested in knowing how fast unity will support this platform and how easy it will be for indie content creators to access the SDK.

  • Can i use python scripts in UNITY???

    • Skjalg
    • September 12, 2013 at 9:05 PM

Haha using a python scripting system in unity is kind of weird given that mono/unityscript/boo is unitys scripting languages. And unityscript is probably even easier to learn from scratch.

yo dawg, I head you like scripting languages so we put in a scripting language that compiles down to your scripting language that way you can script the script.

    Yeah that sounds retarded

I think borderlands is a really great idea because I like FPS's and love RPG's. I just think the execution was horrible. To me the physics were really floaty and the world just felt flat. Kind of like an empty MMO. I dont know why though. I have a couple of friends (who's taste I trust) that absolutely loves the game, so there must be something I'm missing. I didn't play it for long though...

I'm trying to wean my friends from League of Legends.

    ... into DotA2

I've found that this is literally impossible. In my experience when trying to to this it always end yp with LoL being easier in so many regards, and you get the same high when playing it so people who already play LoL will always complain that dota 2 is too hard.

Valve often goes to E3...just never on the show floor. They've had meeting rooms on the upstairs often. One year (maybe 4 years ago?) I almost got run over by Gabe and his entourage walking between meetings. He had this look of "One of us is moving out of each other's way. It will not be me." It was awesome.

You didn't have a beard did you? The greater beard takes precedence in situations like that. But 4 years ago.. hm.. did he sport that magnificent beard of his then?

Suicide always brings mixed feelings. I immediately think that its really selfish to kill yourself.

    Quote from SpronyvanJohnson

People who commit suicide tend to forget something. For whatever reason they've convinced themselves that the only way to take the pain away is to end their lives. But the pain doesn't go away, it remains in those you leave behind.

But it's also really selfish for the closest ones to expect you to white knuckle it through life just so that they wont feel bad.
