Major improvement over the soc patches, I remember that the game was barely playable until like 1.4 (4th patch atleast)..

Hopefully you'll sell another couple of millions, it's atleast the top selling game at steam (and that's just pre-orders ), and I guess it will only go up!

Why aren't the 1.503 patch listed on the stalker page? I mean it's not like it's a supprise that a game needs updates?

I did find some 1.504 patch\crack eng translation, but I wouldn't risk fucking up my game (save games doesn't count) by doing that, but I'm really close to doing it since this is getting annoying.

I liked the game, it was quite unpolished at a lot of points, but still, it was great and dark humor I'd guess that a couple of more months with polishing the game, it probably would have more sales and players. Or maybe not, since I recall cod4 was released some months after it, which would have made it collide with cod4, and, you just don't beat cod4...

And I didn't manage to get to join Clear Sky, the base commander didn't really want to talk to me and the quests in the area doesn't give enough for me to keep staying there. However, I was able to join the Stalker faction, offers from both Freedom and Duty aswell. I don't think it's bugged, I think it's just because my rating have dropped with them.

I wish I had stocked up on ALL the bandages I have found so far, I only carried like 20 in SoC, and I had 30 when I left freedom, after some missions etc. I'm down to 0. Great. And the cost like 200 each D:! Ammo haven't been a problem so far for me (I use a fully upgraded cruiser and a TR301 which I plan to make a sniper like rifle).

So far so good, had 1 crash, no error message, nothing. Just quit to windows without any more hassle like "ERROR YOUR GAME SUCKZ!" or whatever. Might have been a Vista "block" or something. Didn't matter, since I saved just before it happened.

I figured out the AK problem, get to a gunsmith that will work on AKs, and get the scope mount strange, since all AK74 have PSO mounts on the left side of the gun (right ingame)... Didn't try it out though, since I didn't have an AK at the time.

Yeah, when you got like 150m high titans walking around with gatling 1m cannons then you know that the physics aren't real. But, they could atleast have made it come in at another angel, so that it doesn't look so crap.
