Field shovels are the only way to go. Hell, I even fixed my jammed G3 with my shovel.

Atleast the variant we use, it's an combo of shovel, hammer, axe, pickaxe and knife, it's not really good at anything, but it get's the job done for everything.

As for knife, get a Sami knife or some rambo shit that is sharp, heavy and strong, small knives are useless as steppen said...

As for tent, I'd rather buy a proper sleepingbag, one that is light, water resistant and warm. And maybe a "Jervenduk" (mountain cloth?D:!), they are fucking awesome and light. As for bagging girls, build improved shelter, makes hoés think you are manly and strong.

also, there was a behemoth LOL in the middle of nowhere, he spawned behind me and killed dogmeat, and just walked on. jesus fucking christ. ofcourse I quicksaved before it happened, but the retard already had spawned and there was no way to kill him (i don't carry a fatman since it's lame).

maybe it's my cheap ass version that makes my game act like a fool, but if this is the quality you get when you buy "AAA" titles, then I'm done with videogames.

There are so many things in this game that doesn't add up.

Been playing some more. What sucks is that everyone is hostile. There is no way to talk to people unless you are suppose to speak to them..

This game is so child friendly with their ultra obvious picks when it comes to dialogue, it's like you know the outcome before you say it.

Also, it doesn't really feel like an RPG, all I look for is money and ammo, and all I do is shoot. Feels like an ok FPS so far.

Btw., give me a spoiler on how to get to the radio tower, been in every direction, and all it does is to lead me to another metro enterance\exit.

I met one friendly super mutant (more like ORC! and then my game crashed so I don't really know if he was recruitable), and one dude who said "HELP THEY HAVE BOMBS" and some raiders blew me to hell with a couple of Fatmans

Oh and I met dogmeat, he joined me, then I sent him off for some ammo, and I haven't seen him since....

The game doesn't really work as an FPS, nor work as an RPG. It's an OK game if they squeeze the major bugs out (like crashing ever 10 minutes), but it certainly isn't as buggy as people claim F1 and F2 to be. The game really needs to be polished, A LOT.

Well, it's what I expected. Poor dialogue, dumbed down etc. No reason to use 3rd person (except to see poor anims).

But, I'll play some more and see if it will surprise me.

Maybe it's just "my" version, but I don't think it is.

My new and ultra good looking, smart and handsome fella doesn't get anything else in dialogue. Except from the occational "[iNSERT TAG HERE WITH SKILL NAME]" type, which is annoying as hell. I know when I lie, I don't need a tag to tell me.

Pros:

- Vats is fun, unless the camera is messed up.

- Ability to get your own apartment etc.

- Lots of junk items, without any features.

Cons:

- NOOB FRIENDLY (who needs a [LIE] tag when you are telling a lie? Or just tags on whatever you got as a "special" option in dialogue?)

- SPECIAL doesn't do too much (I got 2 int, 7 char and female, I still don't get any sex or sex talk).

- Skills are kinda .. uhm... (Disarming a NUCLEAR FUCKING BOMB with 5 luck, 26 explosives, 9 science and 2 int? Give me a break)

- Console design (FUCKING 20pt fonts!!!!!)

- The dialogue is simple, boring and just straight forward. (with 2 int. and minimal speech I shouldn't be able to say that much smart stuff). Will try 1 super smart char soon, to see if there are any difference.

- 3rd person isn't needed, due to the crappy camera angel and not least the animations.

People who complain about the tempel of trails should try F3, takes longer than a character in F2 with the good perk which gives you minus to all combat skills.

this is amazing. i think i will stop buying games all together if this continues.
