Well, both Motorstorm and Resistance were the first games right? And they even sold with the consoles, so them being that "high" is expected.

GT5 and MSG4 are popular series, so that's also expected.

I guess LBP will have a lot higher numbers, atleast here in Norway LTB is 24/7 on the telly, and it looks like a "kids" game, so probably a lot of parents will buy it for their kids with a PS3.

How are the sales compared to the other ps3 only games?

If I had a PS3 (lol) or it was released for 360, I'd hit it no doubt

I never really bothered to have any interest in those 2 "anime" mods (NT and 1 more, which change for UT3 I think), I have no idea about what the gameplay really is, but it looks like capture the flag (except the flag is some kinda torso from a robot.

I wouldn't count Bluray as one of the security pros, cause bluray movies have been out since the day of bluray.

But it sure does sound amazing, but I guess this might be a reason why PS3 isn't that popular, since people actually like to download games and play for free which they are able to do on the 360. Hell, of my friends who own 360s, more than half have been hacked and the almost never buy their games until they actually find out that they want to play online.

Also, has anyone else played fallout 3 and been slightly paralysed by choice? Too ... much... stuff!

As in normal RPGs? Remember, it isn't a (pure)shooter, you are suppose to make those dumb decisions instead of following a linear path.

You should have looked a real life weapons, weapons in games and such for inspiration. That weapon looks like something you'd start with in a space game and the weapon is so crappy that you'd rather use your fist

    It doesn't look beefy enough

Also; What does it shoot? A mix of 2 liquids that are in separate tanks?

Only problem with that is that is that all the wares need to be behind a counter, and the employees pick them for the customer. Destroys the whole "walk around in shops and look for stuff" thing.

If it's only for payment, the enterance and stuff is still a problem.

It's warm, moist (aka your own spit etc.), hard to breathe, fogged googles which limits vision and if you have been at high activity and take your mask off to quickly, you'll faint of oxygen shock.

is it ever taught to put the stock over your sholder and tilt the gun? ive seen pictures of it, especially with shotguns. id assume its to shorten the rifle, probably makes it harder to aim and recoil harder to handle, but its not much of an issue when your target is within 10 feet.

normally I'd never ever do it except when entering a tight door \ hole \ window, shortens the rifle, it does make aiming harder, but indoors it's mostly point and click.

And you look like an ass while doing it, but I'd rather look like an ass than to be dead

    who is shepard?

Must be a bitch doing FISH with those long rifles. FISH being Fighting In Someone's House as the British Army like to call it. Bullpup style weapons are definitely an advantage indoors.

Haha yeah, at a massive 102cm it's quite hard, especially when doing stair drills. A trick is to hold til far back, so that the end of the barrel is like 10cm from your face, but still. It's fucking long. But the guys who started their mandatory service in August all got the HK 416, which is pretty sweet.

The training was cold. That place "Mauken" is notorious for being one of the most windiest places that the Army use for training

The training was on 3 days :\ But we are one of the first platoons in Combat Service Support to have CQB\FISH\MOUT\SIBO, and to even get something that isn't really a part of our training is next to impossible, but my CO gets shit down when he wants to.

We had basic "how to enter a room" (stacking, communication, grenades, entering, clearing and covering), "how to enter via a window\holes etc." which forces you to jump pretty high, I'd imagine it being a lot harder when you get battleoutfit which adds more weight (like ballistic vest, more ammo, grenades etc. etc.), and then finally how to attack and clear entire buildings. On the final day we did a platoon attack on the "hotel" (the biggest building, where the pic is from), which was very fun

Doing it during a real war scenario must be hell, and you need to keep your shit together. But blanks and training grenades are all fun Except the part that being a corporal gives you a bit more "administration" stuff to do, like to know what's cleaned, where people are at etc. But ofcourse I do play rambo myself
