    Heres my reasoning:

I hate AIM maps, and really any aim map that I had played in the past was usually a boxed in grassy area with some cyclinders for cover. Too actually see an aim_map excel to the point of using a whole new idea and new content/features makes it spotlight material from other normal maps.

You seem overly bitter, perhaps a little upset that no one decided to spotlight your strip club? It's nice, but like you said it's nothing I said "Wow!" over or even consider it being spotlight worthy. Thefore, shut the fuck up and don't act high & mighty of what and who is deserving of a spotlight gallery.

Wow man, that was rude as fuck. Sorry if you're a bit bitter no one spotlighted your strip club? The map they did is spotlight because it's original idea, new content, and features. Both the artists are very-talented and deserving of a spotlight spot on the website.

Y'know with the potentional deletion of EOT, posts like this probably only support it. That's very much so EOT :\

Merely sarcasm. And I agree, thats why I laughed at original at the mod. I hate garbage mods trying to recreate actual titled-games. I saw a fucking Duke Nukem mod for HL2 awhile ago.

I think you're better off just trying to join up w/ NMRiH. At least they have some originality...

Yeah, zombies. Never been done before.

That's fine, you know what I was going to say. And really theres no arguement for it. But, you could easily extract the Counter-Strike:Source vechiles to be models for Half-Life 2 (Or any other modification). Theres no police vechiles, I believe theres only a truck and a black car.

My advice would just be contacting someone who had experience with cars, probably http://www.off-limits.be They seem to have already achieved a library of new prop cars.

Yeah seems a bit high D:

How exactly did you compile your textures? Cause if you use Photoshop and save them as a .vtf rather than using the vtex.exe to convert them to .vtf you're nearly trippling the size of the one .vtf

well i actually did use vtex.exe because i know of the crappyness of this photoshopplugin. 512² textures are nearly 170kb. and the zipped downloadsize is just 4 MB above the beta. this is because i added several models and textures. whats the deal?

Was just humble advise, no "deal". Calm down.

150mb for 1 single map? D:You should have compressed your vtf files abit more

But it looks nice, maybe I should find out how it plays.

dc-mike thats awesome, my only complaints is top center it's a little dark patch, it's kinda noticable when tiling. and also that grass, dirt, canyonrock, etc etc. is usually better around 1024x1024 to avoid obviously tiling patterns in such large circumstances like the cliffs hes shown.

also your texture is oddly 480x480?

Has a Vice City vibe to it. Very nice work.

Exactly what I was about to say!

Although, I don't know, for whatever reason the stripper models just seem cheesy to myself. Although its a club n'all it just seems it's going to be "LOL SHES NAKED LOOK UP THERE LOL". They're the hostage models though, right?

I looked up your video card and discovered this under system req.:

A 350W PCI Express compliant system power supply (with 12V current rating of 20A or more)

So potentionally, you can, but you're running to bare minimum. Antec is a great brand specially for their SmartPower technology and adjustments, so I'd recommend this so you don't overheat easily:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817103937

It's also what I run with, and I had no trouble installing or anything with it's usage.

Very nice, but is it possible you could show the texture ingame? Without the map. With your tutorial. And with just using filter without all that other filters? So we can see the visable difference?
