that and you have like 10000 polies to spend now. and highpoly meshes should be no less than a million polys without meshsmooth.

give us renders even if its only an f9 and give us wireframe which in my opinion is MUCH more important than poly count.

i was just interviewd by lucas last week! didn't know they merged though
-
what article?
-
is it rendered onto a flat plane or inside a sphere?
-
Increase your samples. The ground plane is a little grainy.
-
thumbnails please

-
read the article in "wired" about their dynamic difficulty and AI. Sounds interesting enough.

Bumping this,
IF YOU FIND ANYTHING PLEASE POST SO THAT WE CAN HELP THE COMMUNITY.
I dont care which engine you find ANYTHING, but anything and everything is helpful as long as its of some quality!

You've played the new battlefield hipshot?
-
NOoba your highpoly just seems to be meshsmoothed without much thought. Booo
Stolve google "edge looping" Otherwise superb job for your first character model. you should see what I've seen out of people's first character models....my god. Since you're pretty 'soon' in, maybe bend the forearms slightly in so that there is less strain when you rig the elbow?

Lumberjacks only have a certain ammount of strength. They only regain it if they have the glory of killing a real player. Problem is you can't tell the real players from the fake trees as they all look the same. Like boxwars, but everyone is growing and shifting so you can never tell who's who. Done proceduraly I think that would be neat so that every game is different. Youd really only need a terrain mesh

yeah bf2 engine is pretty damned good
that car looks lame

I really like that. Try displaying on a grey background though so I can see better the alphachannel

I love the posts

Maybe bend your planes a little bit. I'd need to see the tree as the player would, with the same perspective. Keep going!

speaking of the ps3, I heard its developers kit was just obnoxiously big.
