god engines are so hot. Battlefield 2 can do some amazing scenes. HL2 can do some very sexy small detailed arenas. Good times! IR you're amazing

can't help but think of the blacked eyed pea's song, My Humps.

Can we swim in the humps like old school hl1 maps?

meotwiser for life. His model had some extra graphics just to emphasize the "wow" factor. Way to go

dramatic lighting with color, shadows and beam effects would enhance this level a ton. Nice job so far!

Bic: They will be part of the terrain. The BF2 engine allows you to draw splines on the terrain that contours to the terrain surface. From the spline you can apply a road, and it'll interpolate the road properly. Most of the roads will be done this way.

    dark : thanks

hopefuly i'll have a screen of the textured hovercraft later tonight.

nice, but you could probably push them farther. It only takes two shakes of a custom brush to get grime and dirt.

over all structure looks good. You obviously need to spend time workin on the nose and ears. You're starting on subtle'ties but I'd suggest finishing the major things first. I think there might be too big of a skin bulge on the back of the neck. Pretty smooth, so I think you can go a little farther with detail on skin.

your ears lips and eyelids are holding it back. If you could add more detail into those areas you'd be good. Forinstance the ears need to go in and curve up. Small things like that would help push your model. The lips look off. Maybe add more of a crease? Like postman said, your eyelids have no definition.

A better render would help though.

and EOT should die, its bringing the wrong kind of attitude. Mapcore is more of a place just to show work then get solid feedback. Maybe EOT isn't the problem, but it doesn't help.

do you have the low rendering mode on? Cause its not very smooth and the AA is off. I'll post my critique after dinner. Dont run to cgtalk We can be helpful hopefuly however hard it hurts!
