the over all design feels very blocky. Everything on the top down can line up to 90 degrees. The shot with the viking ship especialy. Even thouh not everything is blocky, its aligned blocky and feels very...hl1'ish. Try to break that up with some angles. Are you going for photo real or a more stylised look for aesthetics?

Invest some time making proper models for the Unreal 3.0 engine. So get a highpoly and bake out the normals onto a lower. If you're choosing to take on the huge task it is to lasso in the Unreal3 engine, then make sure you take advantage of all it offers. Otherwise try your game idea on a simpler engine first. Good luck.

looks pretty good, do you have any lighting set up yet? I'd love a lit shot.

dont have any console, and I thought it was a console game. Anyways I'm broke. And that was a method that was to push the PS2's technical limitations correct? You're using source though so....

Whats the game about? It is gorgeous though.

hmm well you could try making terrain meshes over the walls, align the textures, and get some variation. Chamfer the edges of all your doors so they catch highlights from the light. Support beams would help. Maybe extrusionis for your lamps. Little stuff like that! Its a great start, just keep pushing it.

walls still lack depth. I'd almost go for a harsher contrasting light setup then the nice soft shadows source does.

my friend tried something like that for a moss effect. Didn't turn out too well. So this is a furry statue then?
