Maybe it's blood from someone who didn't heed the warning.

Case of point.
Also: Retort.

I hate to break it to you, but you’re definitely not the one coming off best from these little bouts of attempted wit.

you got me, im fucked! D:!
Not really because the Iraq comment was MY opinion and not what I said Kerry would do, hence why it comes 2 paragraphs down and is weighted only as a comical jest to Urban being “pre-emptive.” I don't recall Kerry ever saying he would not go to war at all, just that he'd do it differently, as is the quote on the previous page you've incorrectly linked my comment to. If it's me talking like a retard I appoligize but even then, the rest of the post, including the “big deal,” was untouched.
I was going to write at length something about how everyone was brainwashed by the fabricated dossier and how disagreeing with it got you labelled as a terrorist by a guy nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. About how “different” doesn’t mean “opposite” and how Kerry probably would’ve gone through the correct channels opposed to cutting out the most important middle-man on Earth, but my “do not care” comment still stands, even if you have forced me two write two paragraphs. It’s not my country.

Edit: I don't care enough to start a quoteathon

Quote from Urban
and i cant stand this elitest crap coming from kerry... instead of talking about what hes going to do.. he kept going on and on and on and on...ect about what he WOULD HAVE DONE (being a monday night quarterback is so easy)... i agree.. we all are dumber for watching/listening to it

That makes him look better and Bush look worse and concentrates on the most important thing that has happened during Bushes reign, the war on terror. I like the way you assume he would have made the same, if not worse, choices Bush made and only formed his opinion on what he would have done afterwards. Ever the pessimist.
Quoteone thing really got to me... this may not be a big thing for most americans.. but it really got to me"I also intend to double the number of special forces so that we can do the job we need to do with respect fighting the terrorists around the world. And if we do that, then we have the ability to be able to respond more rapidly."
now we dont let just everyone in to the Rangers/Seals/Delta... those are "elite" groups... this aint the special ed forces...
it is not that there is not enough people are trying to get in.. its not enough people qualify to get in...
Maybe he's going to train people better so they do get in, rather than your assumed stance where he opens the doors to everyone.
I've a feeling you won't like Edward's debate so much, he's just going to purposely misinterpret Kerrys comments to make him look bad, which you've done preemptively. And it's bad preemptive; like a war on a country that's no real threat that causes more turmoil than there was previously.

I really liked Doom as well, and it certainly does look very good - no other game (Half-life 2 included) could create such a realistic looking sci-fi atmosphere and people seem to forget the Doom 3 engine is tailored for this purpose when judging it. Half-life 2 creates much better looking open, realistic enviornments because Half-life 2 is supposed to, Doom 3 isn't. People could easily turn that around and exclaim how Half-life 2 can't get the feel of a futuristic base with atmospheric lighting or rival the mapping flexibilities of script and GUI's.
Unfortunately most people seem to have low expectations of it and either download it and played the first few levels trying to squeeze as little enjoyment out as possible or don't bother with it at all and look at 2 year old screenshots and say the world looks like it's wrapped in plastic (it's fantastic!).

I just upgraded a few things and today found out two things: that I can now play Thief: Deadly Shadows and that Thief: Deadly Shadows sucks.
-
If the release isn't successful or the expansions don't sell it's going to crash and burn and put the developer into bankruptcy, that'll be fun to watch so I'm going to get WoW instead.

Definately wpoly, epoly doesn't factor into compiles at all.

Bill Bryson - A short history of nearly everything, plz

In HL/Quake they used 'splits' only for vertex lighting and visportals, IIRC.

It's kind of funny watching Mike rush to cover up all DD's pretentious comments.

That is goddamn sexy, it's a shame the mod has such an unoriginal premise.

They were certainly overhyped. I wouldn't say they were bad films, but if anyone else grabbed a load of Japanese cinema and said "I'm having that, and that, and that" and threw it at a trite revenge plot they'd probably get worse reviews than Kill Bill's "omg, can I suck your dick please?"

Why does the block have to be shaped that way? Plenty of streetlayouts would let you lower the number of junctions by just placing buildings there without being unrealistic.
Wrecked vehicles, police barricades (and ilk) collapsed overpasses and archways, locked gates etc are ok in a realistic scenario but obvious depending on the game theme you can add more (Resident Evil gets away with a TON of wrecked cars and fire for obvious reason, Silent Hill has craters and massive metal fences with dustsheets on them, for example).
-
And the cars move like bad stop-motion in multiplayer.

The course itself is quite small by HLRally standards but I like it like that. I find compared to other HLRally courses it's also a lot faster and bumpier.
Skybox needs changing on account of it sucking and some of the terrain has some funky shadows. wpoly is ~500 but does hit ~750 if you sit next to the fence and look down towards the start/finish. Ho-hum.
I really need to add some trees about the place, especially the last shot but it's a bit tricky. That hill is steep, cars rarely stick to the path and opt to jump down in the general direction of the start/finish line, trees could make it a little frustrating as they are stop-dead obstacles and obstruct vision... Hmmm.
