Beta is over, the europe beta starts on the 23rd (release date for the US version) so sign up for that if you're interested by visiting the website on the 23rd and slapping "create account" (no downloading first). I got into the US beta (and robbed your beta slot) so I'd imagine you should be able to get into this one if you want a trial.

I've no camera (right now) but one side is the picture we've all see with Gordon holding his crowbar in the mist (no Alyx in the background), the otherside is a silver lambda 2.

But regardless, you can't create accounts anymore, haven't been able to for a while. The system Blizzard had, before whomever decided to upload it, consisted of you rushing for an account (500,000 available - not "open" in the traditional sense) and, if succesful, getting a D/L link.

I would make some wise-crack about there being lots of de_cbble remakes, but I made this over at theHI forums and I got about ten people say "no they'll remake dust" or "no, siege" or "no hi_auruoeuroa," some fuck even edited my post to "de_dust" and said "fixed" in a futile attempt to be amusing and started a debate about counter-strike maps - all the while oblivious to the fact de_cbble's source lies in their map directories.

I can't wait for WoW. And they've established a site in the UK, which probably means there will be a UK server - so you get the benifits both the American and European Servers. I.e everyone speaks English, but there's also little lag and less people you want to track down and punch in the face.

If you people are all into getting obscure Japanese titles now, I'll just write "Disgaea: Hour of Darkness" and "Phantom Brave" there like that and move on quitely.

They do fall over pretty fast on the easier difficulties, but they still have the best monster designs since ever, not many games have a deep-seeded psychological roots behind their monsters. And Pyramid Head really can’t be beaten for the role of best recurring boss monster.

You found the Resident Evil scary, but not Silent Hill... Are you sure you didn't get the game labels the wrong way around? Or did you play Silent Hilll on a tiny TV in a well lit room with the sound both mono and quiet? Because RE has zombies falling through windows, SH has the fucking otherworld.
