I'm in NYC everyday... Mainly Soho, uptown, and 34th street area. my school is by Columbus circle

I live on LI like bic

and yes I would do a foreign exchange, I love Europe and would like to meet people there and so forth. So yall are welcome here.

( and yes America is just as crazy about foreskins as we are about alchol consumption, remember we had prohibition in the 20s, yea that 21 thing is leftover from that. In fact NYC is the most easy going place I have been as far as that goes. Other cities, they id EVERYBODY at the door of the bars)

Birth is traumatic enough as it is. Its all nice and warm in the womb, then bam some doctor is sticking needles in you, fluorescent lights, plastic, incubators, and then they had to go ahead and painfully snip off some of my genitals...

we need a better birth system in this country, it might make people happier

I think its a hospital thing really. If you are born in an American hospital you get the snip snip. Nobody ever really talks about much less are we educated about it.

I think I was about 16 when I realized there was a difference. I always thought it was just Jewish boys and mine was normal, not so. you'd probably get made fun of a lot in high school if you have that extra skin and people know about it...

I'm just gonna throw out a theory that it is a thing left over from the Victorian era like so much of our wackedout thinking, especially when it comes to our bodies and genitals

Also I thinks its much much higher than 60%, if your born in American hospital you get it... I'd say 90%

PaRappa the Rapper for ps1 of course, think it was the first advanced one for the console of its kind

But also music in all games in very important in creating an immersive experience, it can really make or break the game, so I'd make sure you touch on that somewhat

Tree area looks amazing, more of that

Maybe vary the lighting on the inside to give it better contrast? you know mix up the warm and cool lights, nice dark spots to contrast the light areas etc.

    needs more lara croft

but seriously, I watched an interview with one of the developers, they took pains to give it a cinematic movie quality like many films of the genre so hopefully that will show through

You don't have to add in more detail. You can go for a minimalist look in certain areas, most modern architecture is like that, but you have to make it work visually, so it can be visually impressive and still be simple. From what I see it looks like you might be able to do that for certain areas.

So it can be empty, but if you do it right, it won't seem empty. know what I mean?

So while I agree with the above mentioned, don't always take it as a rule for everything.

    just my 2cents

For a maya course at school,

We had to texture this stupid tutorial spaceship, so I had fun with displacements

    [Blocked Image: http://jonmonaghan.com/stuff/newmod3.jpg]

then we had to model our own "spaceship"

I don't know what the actual gameplay looks like, but these are incredible, I think they are based off of games like Cloud

    I'd get em if I had a ps3

WW2 is a subject I have been interested in for many years, so I can see why people would want to do this and dedicate so much to this. And considering the focus on realism, it should be a nice change from the norm.

    good luck!

I think you would die often though in the NFL without pads, the velocity is higher and the men are fatter... mass x velocity = ouch

But is so American, you have to love it. Its sport taken to billion dollar proportions, fat losers get infatuated with it and drink lots of beer and eat food, all the companies save their best commercials for it, many kids in the southern United States put there futures on it, cheerleaders yay bouncy, its rule system is like our legal system. Its the American version of sport, and its awesome.

  • What are some famous photographers?

    • Vinny Testaverde
    • September 11, 2007 at 9:55 PM

Nobuyoshi Araki, contemporary, he does lots of nude females, very sexual, but also does real life, streets of tokyo etc

Jeff Wall - presents his photographs at a large scale on big lightboxes

Annie Leibovitz is famous, although I don't think her work is that great...

Helmut Newton - commercial photographer, but a good one

Stanley Kubrick did a lot of photographs too, not just films

    Dorothea Lange - classic

ya know go to your local library and pick up a good book on master photographers, (one that has nicely printed pictures)

The internets are full of great photographers of today... find what sparks your interest

Well I'm doing fine thanks for asking...

This summer I traveled a lot, Istanbul, Sofia, Belgrade, San Francisco, Seattle, Alaska.

I worked with a sculptor in California on a 3d visualization of his work for the Beijing 08 Olympics. I have also been involved on a 3d sculpture project, where we print out rapid prototype models, and then they will sent to China to be carved at a much larger scale out of granite. It is funded by Autodesk and will travel around the major art museums in China. Also working with 3d with Kenneth Snelson, a well known artist here in NYC.

Been working on my 3d film animation, which will be my main showcase of my work for Graduate schools that I will be applying too in December.

Been with a girl this summer and now she is away at school, so I figured that ship had sailed, but she still wants to be with me so hey cool... Girls are frustrating sometimes, but you learn a lot about yourself with them I guess.. sex is fun too

Also continuing to do web design and such...

School is going well.. 3.7 gpa...

Im turning 21 in a week, so I can now go out and drink in America...

On the downside, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer recently.. she lost her hair, but the chemo and such should take care of the cancer for now. The next couple of months will be hard, as chemo makes you very sick and tired all the time.

So back to work, its great catching up on mapcore.. I remember when everyone was so childish on IRC and dreaming of working for major game studios and now everybody is still childish, but are actually making a living making games so cheers yall
