im with ginger, me and my dad have had probably 6 different evolutions of the digital elphs (what theyre called in ths us), or ixis cameras. they're great, tiny, and cheap. we both have underwater cases that we scuba dive with.

here are some examples, just take note that underwater shots never come out as good as normal shots. cloudiness, weird lighting, color loss and auto focus all change a lot.

never owned a north face thing, i never realized how expensive their shit is. someone got a cigarette burn on my suede coat so i got this end of season for 50% off. its not a normal north face fleece, its more of a water proof jacket.

and i bought a scarf end of season, 40% off of $10.

id take a picture, but i've got it dampened all rolled up in a towel (they had it tied up and in storage so it was wrinkly as hell and the tag is super strict on cleaning).

then for all those books i bought a few weeks ago, i got some sweet book ends (the monkeys; the tigers were a close second, but i <3 monkeys) $14

all this shopping was brought about by the fact that the genius bar had an hour wait. i wanted to see what they wanted to fix this:

fuck $199. i'm considering fixing it myself since i was able to successfully disassemble and reassemble my ipod touch and the iphone looks easier to disassemble and i only have to take off the top layer. plus the glass + digitizer is cheap as hell. im also considering just using it like it is since it works just fine. i wish i knew when the next version was coming out. june is a long time to wait, but i use the damn thing too much anyway. maybe this will cut me back (probably not)

i bought stalker for the steam holiday sale and just started today, played probably 3 hours. it's ok, though incredibly annoying that i have to go back to the beginning often and traverse across crap i already did. plus i find the roving radiation shit dumb and annoying too.

ive been meaning to do some reading and avoid the computer some. i read a great book (my war by colby buzzell) a few months ago and in it the author mentioned some books that influenced him so i bought a few, throw in another couple that i've been wanting to read, and a couple economics books too since it's my major and i should probably give a crap about it all together, they're pretty expensive, a whopping $138.56 with tax. i guess i could have saved money by buying the books separately, used, from different sellers, and shipping them separately, but im going to get them all new, in one package, with free shipping, with the click of one button. meh. I'll make it back saturday night.
