Can it at least be neutron bombs so that whatever's left of ancient Greek architecture is left intact? Let's be real, ancient Greece and Gyros were the only good things to come out of that country.

":1jb92jc4]This is actually very good news for me, as in the last couple years my gaming has been more and more heading towards the couch instead of on my desk since I already spend 9 hours a day on a desk.
Man... don't let dux hear that.

Left side without hesitation, but yeah it's a tad too red. Here's a TF² map i'm working on, pl_decay, it's a badwater gametype, 4 points to cap, i try to give to it an old industrial style, and visually, everything should be angled :> .

Really like the simplicity in those last two screenshots, looks really promising

I guess it's one way as many, but you can try to follow these sketch techniques : http://www.youtube.com/user/FZDSCHOOL/videos
Damn, completely forgot about those videos! Really awesome stuff.

Someone once said that art asks questions and designs answers them. This piece dares to ask "what does it mean to be orange?" and then boldly answers "255 94 31"I intend for people to get sick of it around the same time I release beta 5. Actually that would be pretty sweet if people got sick of it before then since it would mean they played it for more than thirty seconds.
That sounds like an interesting prisoner's dilemma

and to draw what you see, rather than what you think you see.
Here's a great book about this: http://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Right-Sid ... +the+brain

The orange is too strong, I don't think people are going to stand playing your map for too long

Nice screenshots, environments looking good!

Digging those textures man~

Despite not having the best impression when I started playing I'm now really loving it.
I haven't played CS 1.6 in half a decade so I can't really make any comparisons with that but this game definitely feels much more responsive and fair than CS:S... When I die I die because I made something stupid or the other player was better than me, and not because of some crappy hitbox lag.
Anyway, I'm really hoping that valve builds a community around this game maybe by having a maps/skins section under that workshop thing. With some valve love I believe there could be a renaissance in CS mapping

":18vpbj4s]Only thing missing from this game, is new maps for the defuse mode. I mean, yeah, the old ones work just fine and I really love them.. but c'mon.Other than that, fuck me, Im loving this!
Who plays de_ or cs_ maps anyway XD The fun is all in crappy maps!

Goddamn. The amount of times I've unloaded an entire clip into someone 5ft away only to die with 94 damage given in 3 hits is ridiculous.
All in all, I find the weapon spread really weird some times. And is it me, or does crouching make the spread even worse?Aim to the head next time

Oh my fuck, can't wait~

Yeah weapons are pretty bad... the best ones look at best at the same level as Fallout New Vegas weapons

I actually quite liked the environment art though. Surely it's not mind blowing but I'm glad they finally improved vrad. I tried to achieve the same de_dust off-white look while on Insurgency 2 but found it almost impossible with the portal 2 engine.
Was this game made entirely by valve by the way? Cause it doesn't have usual polish from valve games.. really hoping the final release is more polished than this beta version. :ssj:
